New rvr guild :)

hi peeps,

Thought id introduce ourselves to mid/exc

We are originally from Hib/Pryd rvr guild called "Severance", 1 of our grps have decided to start a guild on mid/exc which we formed last night "Destiny" atm we are low lev but im sure in a few weeks or so we will have all dinged 50 & ready for rvr. We are still commited to hib/pry rvr but we will aslo RvR in mid/exc, so if you see any of us in the meantime, give us a /wave we're easy going & friendly guys

They're not a new guild so to speak, just an established guild from pwryd starting out on excal, so hardly a fotm "omgwtfpwn" guild as you put it.

Well with these guilds its only those guildes and other savages that get rp not all that want to like it was a long long long time ago since i saw a rm get a random grp in emain

kinda, midgard get a RvR guilds hib+alb gets some to coop with the one from midgard. Midgard get a few more hib+alb get a few more, so in the end if you want to rvr where all those rvr guilds RvR you either get owned rather often (as they are running in a stronger setup) or you dont. So yes for the few people who want to run in reasonable random setups it isnt good that there are alot of RvR guilds in midgard as there will also be alot then in albion/hibernia. Off course it will most likely help in big RvR events like RR's and big keep fights (if those guilds help in such situation which isnt always the case).
Anyway everyone can play how they want. I just agree with the assumption that for random mids(people not in rvr guilds) getting more RvR guilds in midgard isnt a good thing for their personal rvr experience. But play how you like with whom you like and welcome .

never said so, but on short term you run a better group, but after a while albs and hibs will adapt and the ones who cant or wont run a better group will have a tougher time in rvr. Its up to you wether to decide what you want to do, if you think this game is about fg vs fg and getting the best setup possible than you should run in your savage group.
However if you think it isnt about that, you might want to stop this course as it might effect rvr in an unpleasant way.

Its kinda the same with buffbots, every solo'ers needs one everyone keeps saying. So mid x gets one too, but that means that hib y and alb z who didnt buffbot face one more buffed person. So hib y goes and get a buffbot now alb z has to face again one more buffed person. Now getting buffed isnt bad, its a tactic and mythic allows it, its also kinda smart. However it does mean that you put extra pressure on everyone on this server to get a buffbot aswell.
Now other problem with buffbots is that most solo characters have been balanced with buffbots in mind, so they actually need them (or atleast mythic is working on balancing with in mind that everyone is buffed/fully buffed).

both cases doing it isnt wrong, but you just add pressure on other people having to do it and you could atleast acknowledge that. If you dont think its wrong to have a buffbot or to join a rvr guild than in your eyes the effects of your actions shouldnt be wrong.

Anyway my earlier reply was to zorena who claimed that by getting more andm ore rvr guilds in midgard that it wouldnt effect other peoples RvR, which it does. But wether thats bad or good is not for me to decide.

maybe ppl just wanna play the game and have fun, and not think about weird theories what would make rvr better, what "puts a pressure on the server" and what is bad etc.

i never said you should do that, just to claim that whatever you are doing in rvr doesnt effect your realmmates isnt true. Its hardly a weird theory though.

Albs complain about savage groups, mids say well run in tank groups. Thats what I mean with putting pressure on the people on this server to play in one way, it is something that cant really be stopped either. Its the same with /assist, its a powerful tool and if you want to win in RvR you will have to use it wether you like it or not. It isnt wrong or good and you dont have to think about it. However dont go claim that your actions dont have any effect on your other realmmates.

If people pay for this game they can run their rvr groups with whatever they want and noone should complain. If my chars would get gimped I would exp up new chars not stand at MTK yelling "RM/Thane lfg plz invite!!!!" and whine on forums that noone will invite me.

Can't people stop complaining about RvR guilds all the time. People should play the way they think they have fun and if they don't have fun they shouldn't complain on others that are having fun. Do something yourself instead.

Amen,can still remember the whines on hibernia/pryd section when NP & Conquest came to hib.

It's annoying to meet fotm aka group what wont die But that's how the game goes sometimes
