that info was for your new card, your geforce. taking off vsync means a frame is drawn as it is made, even if your monitor is halfway through a refresh. for fps i highly recommend you take vsync off to get maximum frame rate.

I already have also taken 4x aa off and increased the resolution, it runs a lot smoother and fps increases too.I use 3d mark 2001 to test these issues and without aa its twice the amount even when i had a geforce 3 too.Anti anilaising does make it look great though but with higher resolution it can be just as good.

finally got the game - im a rogue called Keels in alb/excal and at lvl 4 already after a few hrs.

going to muck about at campacorentin for a bit till 5 then go specialise

ps voodoo is fine till it get a bit complicated - then it can slow up.
