I believe it's time i got a new monitor my current monitor is 1280/1024 max res and is around 4 years old and has served me well but my games look shit considering I'm using a 3870x2.

Anyone seen any knocking about for that price?

Overclockers has a 22" Samsung or a 24" OcUK value one for that price. Plenty others to choose from though.

The samsung one is pretty similar to what I've got and it's a fantastic screen

I have a slightly older (6 months) Samsung 22inch Widescreen. Very happy with it.

Just an update on this one. I've bought one as a 2nd monitor for myself; got it, was easy to assemble, perfect picture quality upto 1920x1080.

My only gripe is the lack of adjustable stand. It goes left and right and that's literally it; luckily the angle is perfect for a seated position having it at or a little below head height.
