You may have noticed that the forum homepage has changed slightly, this is to align it into what we would like to have displayed when running under XF.

Minus all the sub forums in general I hope? Worse than sticky's having to scroll past all that!

When I am at work, our websense software blocks access to Freddyshouse because FH must use meta tags (or something like this).

I know you must have words such as "games, pc games, daoc" etc to display FH in Google searches, so I wondered if there was a version of the site you could run without all the tags, which would not be pulled up by overly zealous web filter programs?

So for instance, at work I could goto http://forums.basicfreddyshouse.com and it would show me the same website, but without all the tags.

Apologies if I am asking for the earth, did not know if this is even possible!

Oh and there's still loads of wasted space, is there anything that can be done about that? The gaps between posts is huuuuge and not very pretty. I like the thread preview mouseovers though!

There are currently links for PM, report post and rep under each name. The new forum doesn't seem to have much of anything showing and it shows a popout when you click a nick.

The styles are varied, but is there anything like the default vbb style (white background, pale blue frames for user details, blue headlines/titles with white text, posts text in black sans-serif font like Arial/Helvetica)?

eh.... are you using the correct testforums link? There is no rep system. The report post button is now under the post, not user name. There is a pale blue theme....

Try the "XF Default style", if you click a user a popup shows, from there you can go look at their profile page etc.

This will be the first release of major new features since XenForo 1.0. There are lots of things going in, some of which we have hinted at in posts around the forum. There are also a few things that we had originally slated for 1.1 that will now be pushed back to a later release in favour of getting 1.1 out sooner with an array of completed features.

Here are a few features that will be in XenForo 1.1:

• Right-to-left layout mode for Arabic (etc.) language support

• Ability for members to ignore other members
• Custom user profile fields
• Daily statistics
