I'm sure they will let tanks rule again for 6 months until people work out how to beat the assist trains then they will let casters have a turn to rule again.

It wouldn't be fair otherwise, right?

I personally thought it was quite balanced at the moment, only that det was not worth the RAP's to buy so no one had any.

Yep, must rox for skillgard!
Because Hib doesn't perform as well with tanks/doesn't have tanks which are as good? Really..

Don't get the point in going charge3/det5 myself. Apart from slam, and being able to get away from a grappled while being able to do fuck all, it doesn't really serve a purpose?
Personally I'd rather go for det5+longwind 3-4 and stick the rest of the points in mop/str, as it'd be more effective and cost fewer points. With high det and longwind you'd have some sort of 'perma charge', obviously not the real thing, but nearly, until you run out of end. But that shouldn't happen when grouped with a pala/shaman/bard.

Since when did Mythic care about things being fair? :p
They just give OP abilities and take them away again to keep people interested. When I checked last night there were 20+ lvl 50 mercs online, while there's only about 5-6 on most the time.

Det being improved is long overdue for some classes. Think it might be a bit knee-jerky as always, but... hell long overdue on heavy tanks.

Any decent grp will just CC the pet and it´s out of business.

Can´t help the BL spamming ppl breaking CC on it all the time.

Lol @ doom and gloom.

Imo the game is what you make it.

I've been an unknown class (Way back) been fotm, been underiserable (caster groups - bastards forced to me to make a Theurg \o/) and now fotm again.

Yet I've always found groups possible and when not so, I've leveled new characters for playing a more of a 'solo' experience.

Logged on last night and despite spamming in CS and on /as I couldn't find a group for love nor money. It's only the prospect of running with the terribly fun guys of Wisty, Mart, Grae, Evita, Mani, Smells that has kept me playing my merc, ever becoming closer to RR7 - having made most of my points in PuG. Not easy when ya not a 'leet' player or someone who's got bags of time to play.

However the game is what ya make it, with or without the changes. Sooner or later I'll be non -fotm and will go back to running solo and unbuffed! (Worked last night - got 3 Ds until fg steamed me :p) But I'll keep playing, regardless of rule changes.

Imo don't read into the hype of whats good and whats bad - play the game, kill warlocks and have fun :)

Well, for some reason I wasn't surprised to see more light tanks on when they'd be given a new toy :p The same people will prolly move back to their sorc/caba the moment they get something again tho :p

rofl this made my day hahahahah

imo all this talk about 4 light tank groups is bullshit 2k that might work on US servers with brainless yanks. but in EU the good groups will keep running with atleast 1 caster prolly more.

You cant have very fun during your days.

And if you refer to my sig and playing with "brainless yanks" I might add I have a 5 clothcasters in my grp and 1 minstrel and 2 clerics :)

theres really no point being Mind with this new Det.

Get body spec on sorc MOF2-3 orso then have a nice ae root and tools of r0x

AE-mezz is still useful on casters, support and such. And on non-Determination guys in general.

Speccing less mezz when mezz-duration is lowered is a good way to make sure mezz is entirely useless :D

Personally found my Vamp almost never CC'ed, got charge3 and purge2 now (no access to Determination on Vamps). It worked quite decent - only thing annoying me is root, but I can do some stuff while rooted.

agriid. but its all about setups I guess ;) and any decent RR/Skilled grp make sure that a caster dont stand for full duration red mez ;p

Depends abit really. Hibs generally run with 1 demezzer who's also main end-supplier. If the fight is long, bard purged, and he gets remezzed, he will stand there for full duration unless the enemy breaks mezz.
