I have to be honest the lack of CC on tanks was one of my main worries with this patch. Its not the lowbie tanks, but the RR7 +. Hard enough to take out before, even with a debuffer, especially with ease they can close and interupt.

Now you may not even have 10s before they are free. If they are sitting with DI on within their group, then it could take 5 - 7 seconds before their DI has run down to the point that you can do some damage real damage.

Not sure there was such an age, tbh, it was mostly a matter of perception ("eek, grapple and BG, can't kill with my tank anymore, time to start QQing!").

Its Dark Age of Tankalot all over again only this time there's these things called BG and Grapple and SoI etc. Only played sorc once since the patch and i cant say that the tanks are 'omfg op'd gonna delete/retire sorc'.

Sure the new det + charge combo is very op'd but saying its so bad you're gonna delete/retire your char over it is just silly

For me Albio should try this kind of group now :

or
Cleric, Cleric, Pala, Friar, Mincer, Merc, Reaver, Reaver.

High det to everyone leaves only clerics to be effected by CC.

The det change alone would not be that big a deal. We used to have it before and could cope ok. Combine it with charge3 and tanks with mutiple insta interrupts though(banelord) and it really is a waste of time. I would much rather play in the old savage assist train days than what it is now.

So for all those who will ask me for a group in the future i will say no so not worth you bothering.

dont have a single tank in my grp. (except for ml9 templars ofc ;DDD )

2x theurg
2x sorc
1x cabalist
1x minstrel
2x cleric

root support make sure the tanks overexstend out of heal range. kill them. if they dont. just keep looping back because someone WILL do it. to funny

Thing is a BAOD3 hib grp with det5 tanks and bainshee with ablative in is basically impossible for a alb caster grp to kill.

you are one of the ppl who rolled a sorc when they where OP (moc3 + soi + ml9 pet etc), and as soon as they are not the total easymode class anymore and you actually might need a brain to kill stuff now, you go qqmode, delete the char and roll on to next FoTM? maybe a merc?

Dark sm is 10 times more easymode with the same shizle better damage intercept and ghetto mez so whats your point?

lol man get a clue littles is one of the original sorcs back in the days when mercs were hated in albion and well sorcs were also hated and back in the days when erm them big plate things with no chants what they called i think armsman were fotm.

yes dark sm is easymode but sorc with ml9 pet, soi and moc3 is exactly as much OP. you can discuss about that all you want it wont change the facts.
furthermore i never whined about sorc´s, i played one on camlann too for a while. my point is he talked about sorc like they would be total crap now cuz they took his I-Win buttons away (cant use moc and soi together now etc)

and deleting a char cuz its not totally OP anymore is just plain retarded.
det5 aint a big deal either if you have a good BGer, you cant CC them but you can still cast shit while beeing BG´d. yes you can get BL spammed but if you group is stupid enuff to stun light tanks you deserve to die.

imo all this talk about 4 light tank groups is bullshit 2k that might work on US servers with brainless yanks. but in EU the good groups will keep running with atleast 1 caster prolly more.

cant really compare sorc to sm, sm has intercept pet wich really seems to make the class atm, i wonder how many would run em if they didnt intercept

edit: body spec on sorc instead would be better i guess, tho red mezz lasts what, 5-6 secs on 50% body with det5, red single root stops you for 2 secs and wears off in 1 sec... abit silly combined with charge i have to admit
