New assasins posion 1.82 Patch!

Will all Scouts... all Archers infact be going Sniper spec when the new patch is out?
There is enough whine atm with all the tower campers etc and adding going on from all Archers but do Mythic want us to make more tower campers etc?

With the new poisons what Assasins get, no one will dare leave there keep alone! even tanks!

Yes indeed! Weaponskill/con debuff if im not mistaken, so basically, IF you hit which is gona be hard, then you will hit for shite damage!
So it is assasin love!

now you get to feel the pain every str-weapon using char has felt vs assassins for years.

All it does is increase their effectiveness vs classes who's damage stat isn't dex, most likely intended to balance the stealth wars. Those who's damage stat is already str, which is already many assassins, the majority of tanks, plus quite a few archers will see little or no difference. Try plugging in the old debuffed vs non-debuffed strength values into a WS calc and you'll see the decrease in WS was previously around 25% if not more.

The impact on non-buffed chars (thinking classic servers) who get stat debuffed for less is yet to be seen, but for anyone who plays buffed which is probably everyone in this forum, theres no real case to whine.

I like that poison change, means I won't be 'rooted' if a SB PA's me and I am carrying a piece of siege equiptment

i plan to get high enough rr once that patch is out to get purge 3 and deal with it that way

Purge 3 wont help at all! They can just see you purge and re-poison you!
There is no timer on using poisons so they cant be immune.
