Friar can't be banelord. But I'm guessing you mean Battlemaster since you put in (ML8). Anyway, looks like a very nice setup. Problem is finding active players who can fill all of those roles.

You have no idea how many times I've heard "lol? friar with healer's embrace cloak? sure rejuv friar rock m8 sure LOL"

My Friar is 29staff, 48enh and 34rejuv and if I see the need for last matter resist buff in Cata I'll go for 49enh and 44rejuv I'm using Tartaros and basically I only melee (yes, the damage is still fine while landing styles against good defence is hard) against caster heavy groups or when I'm out of mana (hoping Tartaros will proc ). I dont have BG yet so usually I spend my time grappling and healing, with BG I can melee while BGing if needed.

Got 25% healing, 10% casting speed, 23dex cap, 9% melee damage, 5% melee speed and 0quick on my template and I'm perfectly happy with it

get ml8 asap, afaik theres a run of MLs going on atm on albion, ML3 being the next, make sure you keep an eye out and tag along

Yes, friar doesn't get a usable MCL2 charge. They get a proc. Quote from VoS; "L5 Tartaros: Melee Combat Speed 5% - Proc to return 50% power"
