New Albion dedicated RvR group.

i dont agree with all these nu-frontiers alb grps running around without a paladin. obviously i would say that because i am one, and dont get groups, but also, the paladin has a lot of utility. its like leaving a warden out of a hib grp. sure you can fit in an extra caster, and yey the extra nuke power sounds fun. but then youve lost a lot and gained.. not much.

bodygaurd/gaurd/resist chants (you dont get many paladins around using them properly, qbinds ftw) /high dmg soak/and (at least in my pallys case) adequate DPS. i hit most things for 250+ a swing, which is enough to be of use tagged along with a merc for added dmg when needed.

i know Kupo Flux run without a paladin, their setup of cleric/cleric/reaver/minstrel/cabby/sorc/wiz/theurg looks nice. until you watch Velan the blademaster having the time of his life, dancing through the casters tearing them to shreds.

Yeah paladins are useful in groups but there are other class's i'd rate above them (Like Friars) but as long as you have 1BG in the group thats fine

Got stones, artis, some experience and I don't get that mad.

I've got a few other chars as well but I haven't really played those classes in rvr so wouldn't be of much help until I get a grip.

B) if you joined this grp, then youd be expected to give us priority over any Kupo Flux group running

Regarding pbaoe grp, would be a nice idea if you should face against zergs and zergs, but with the "recently" low pop on Pry makes it kinda dead idea :<

Alb pbaoe can be fun and does work, no idea how effective it would be these days though cos ice wizards are rarely about. I reckon 2 ice wizards + reaver(twf,banelord) or friar (ST,2nd bg) could work well too, plenty of room for experimentation anyway.

Friar can't be banelord. But I'm guessing you mean Battlemaster since you put in (ML8). Anyway, looks like a very nice setup. Problem is finding active players who can fill all of those roles.

Depends how much u feel u can rely on your sorc to win mez, demezz etc though i guess with purge 2 its not as big a problem as it was and a charging tank isn't going to have a problem anyway.
