Have had this router for about 4months, and have 2 comps connected to it. It works ok as long as all i do is surf the web or transfer filed between the 2 comps, but when i dl from outside sources with dc++ or torrents or ftp etc it usually locks itself, stoping all access to the net and itself every hour or so. I can still access the 2 machines hooked up to it from each other when it does this, but i cant access the router itself or anything beyond it (i.e. the net). Only thing i can do is pull the power cord and restart it :/
Anyone know what might cause this? Is it busted or is there some setting that i cant find thats causing it? Does it need new firmware (still using the version it came with)? Is this common with netgear routers?
