Question Netbooks (no, not laptops, lickle-ickle netbooks)

Samsung NC-10, Asus EPC 1000 HE or Acer Aspire One? They seem to be the best of the bunch at the moment.

Samsung is the best one out of those I think. I don't really like the Asus...it feels to cheap

I have the Acer Aspire One and its superb...battery life is just over an hour long though...but I think you can get different batteries for it.

Screen is quite small but it is a netbook after all! Wifi is excellent

Vaio's are usually a lot more expensive with not very much extra bang for your buck as they say!

+1 for NC10 here. My little sister went and bought one without asking me first. After getting over my annoyance, I actually quite liked it apart from the tiny keyboard (which goes without saying really).

I'm the past master at choosing style over substance, but that Vaio is taking the piss even for Sony. Gorgeous yes, but its a crappy performer at a ludicrous price. The Samsung is looking fave at the mo.

The NC10 is good, have one myself. Only problem is the size of the touchpad.

Make sure to upgrade to a 2Gb stick, 6400 will do it.

Both are good netbooks, the Eee 1000HE has the best battery life - although you can probably find the Samsung NC10 a little bit cheaper now.

Wow, thats a lot of money for a netbook Is there anything that sets it apart from say the Samsung?

Personally I love the Samsung, i've been in the store and dreamed about it as a comp to bring with me to school etc. Not managed to raise the funds tho But when i bought a new comp and a new TV and ....

Sony has no touchpad!? Don't see it being a hit tbh!

It's prolly that they removed the touchpad so they got a unique look +500£ But how annoying won't it be to controll it ? Or am i missing something?
