Need help on paladin

Im making a thid pally 2h, and I wonder if you still need to spec a damage type as like slash f.i. to minimize damage variation on 2h styles? IF not Ill just go 21 2h, 24 chants, rest parry.

Also what stats should i boost? Is dex needed for 2h damage? Does piety do anything for a pally?

Wow, no need for 3 threads.. Dex is only needed if you go thrust

speccing slash will help yes, not a huge difference at lvl 24 but still worths, for stats u will need str and quick, dex not so important if u dont cap it, piey wont make u anything but maybe (i don't really remember) a little more pow.

check on "charplan" software for stats, skills and calculations (it helps although it is very accurated)

what about crush? is it better damage compared to slash (thrust is out cause i wont bother with dex)? Im beginning to think I might go 22 chants, 18 2h, rest crush and left over in parry. I cant remember if 21 2h gives a usable style...

2H Thrust is 100% STR afaik, so if you stay in 2H modus you might as well go thrust I reckon.
