The place to be is the Rescue Rooms for music, very cool little venue, just around the corner from Cock Shitty (though the best gig I've been to was at the latter). Nice place, and it has Notts County \o/

Used to have friends at Trent Poly, yeah I know, its gotta be 15 cyears ago now, but used to go up frequently for weekends. Loved the city, great fun good shops and some very good memories. No idea what it's like now though but hopefully it hasn't changed too much.


Ahhh Rock City, some good memories of that place too

I didnt read the rest of the thread, because most of you are boring.

I digress, the Rescue Rooms(very near rock city) are starting to really take off, with some good nights for most alternative tastes. Holding some good gigs there too recently

nights to watch out for are Home taping is Killing Music and Track & Field.


also, for record shops and stuff, Selectadisc is superb.
