need help badly:(

Hi i have been reseaching the internet for months now and i have finally come up with a template. for lvl 50 I am lvl 40 atm.
50 slash
42 shield
38chants
rest to parry(like 10 or something)

ok that is settled. i have 1.5 plat on me atm. what shield should i look for for when i am lvl 50. what sword should i look for. then how long (hours) should it take me to get up to 50? from 40. non stop grouping and fighting. and where should i go fght at lvl 40,41,42,43,44,45,46,47,48,49? i know these are alot of qurstions but i thank you very very much. and other advice is welcomed

I couldn't answer all the questions but the last one i would say df from 41-50 is very easy and fast exp.

Sword = Arcanium Bastard Sword and carry an Arcanium Jambiya about for casters/stealthers

Shield = Arcanium Round Shield for slamming, either an Arcanium Heater Shield for blocking or a drop shield for +shield bonuses, a Lyn Barfog shield or a Dartmoor shield should fit the job.

Exp at Pygmy Tanglers from 40-50 or inside DF doing shredders, succubi, nightmares etc

And dont go with that spec though please, having your chants that low means all you would be is a poor damage dealer, since Paladins aren't know for hitting hard you'll need to make up for that with your chants, at least take your chants high enough to get the last endurance chant. The damage output for 50 slash isn't all that much greater than its previous requirement amethyst slash. As for the weapons, as Yussef said.

the most viable specs in mho are
46 chants or 48 chants
42 shield
39 slash or 44 slash
rest parry

chants are bread and butter for paladins

one more thing i forgot but no one hasm answered et. how long ill it take to get from 40-50 none stop fighting? And should i go solo and do endurance chant then get nice wizzy to damage buff me or jsut go in a group and do AF, chnt then something else.

First off, well done for rethinking your spec.

To answer your questions

1) If you are the only Paladin in the group, run heal, since you are probably the main tank and it's easy for a Paladin to hold the attention of mobs with heal chant.

2) If you are soloing, your best bet is to do the following, run heal chant and style on the mobs until you run out of endurance to style with, then twist your chats in this order, AF/Damage/Heal, this will give you a double heal (heal chant pulses every 6 secs), if you time it right, retwist just as the graphic display for the heal chant disappears, does take a bit of practice, but once you have it, you should be able to do it each time.

3) Bloody ages, it all depends on how you like to play, if you prefer soloing, then well you'll be at it for a while, if you can find some decent groups, xp goes fast for 40-45, it only really seems to slow at about 48+, mainly cos your going against red con mobs rather than purples. It really depends on how much time you have on your hands and how much time you are prepared to put into the last 10 levels

takes little longer to get from 40-50 then it takes from 1-40
normally you will be 50 in appr. 25 days /played.

from 40-43 go tanglers in lyonesse / wight in the barrows or leech a bit in a DF group
Solo i wouldn't recommend, cerntainly not after level45 or so

good thing u decided on 44 slash instead of 50, i got 50 and diamond slash really sucks, sapphire slash is much better
