Servant spec is supposed to affect the HoT, so better safe than sorry.

+hits I am sure just effects you and not the pet, so when your pet dies you come out of shade mode with slightly more hp, but still not at full run speed, possibly with buffs after 1.65 you might be able to tap twice with a 3spd swing, things are looking up though,

And dead who said anything about instas? Any mes can be repeatedly cast on the necro pet and stick, and stack, and last full duration, so unless you have a minstrel/sorc doing and exceptional job or your at less 90% pet hp, (mob ai love it hate it) you will be standing about for a long time
