At least TUG admits he's a cheapo car modding pauper. I can at least respect him for that.

Frankie on the other hand is living in some dream world where he thinks his "BMW" is worth shouting about - just like any other paup who buys an old "BMW" and thinks he's in with the wealthy crowd.

Mind you, it's pretty obvious from his level of English that he's devoid of any intelligence. And before you say "it's a message board I don't bother trying!!!", don't. You can always tell who the intelligent posters are. Their messages are always well written, well ordered, and have a decent level of English and spelling. They don't make a special effort to acheive that, it's just how they come out when someone with a brain is writing them.

To be honest, I don't care if X modded junk heap is "faster" than Y brand new show room car. I'm perfectly willing to accept that some modded cars are unbeleivabley fast (I've seen the Clarkson vid where the modded capri, with a woman driver, can own a TVR Cerbera with a man behind the wheel). If you're happy being a car modding paup, who likes 7ft wide exhausts on 1.1 engines and air scoops and fag valves and likes driving them round McDonalds car parks and blocking up seafront promenades and generally being shit, dangerous pain the in the ass drivers - then good luck to you. I'll just sit here safe in the knowledge that one day, when you grow up, you'll look back and realise what a fucking cocklord you were.

i have never pretended to be wealthy, as i can safely say i have 30 quid in me bank. Its not especialy hard to write with a high level of good grammer, but as it goes, why bother? its a message board with mostly little kids reading it. Whats the point in confusing them any more with use of high level grammer.

That is the reason why i dont bother typing with any thought.

and yes, my car is cheap, but it is not shit. Its a 1.8 but it is not slow. Not too hard to comprehend is it?

quit with the arguments, its beginning to be tiresome, as its always about the same areas, and uses the same inert comments.

Speaking of which I'm selling my current car to part finance my new one.

Note the slightly shady history :( ... was originally a stolen/recovered that was sold at auction after the insurance company had already paid out (ie. written off) the money for the car.

Cue the Astra pisstake jokes...

golly. I just weading this thread back after a few days of 'Low Posting Disorder' and it seems to progressed to quite a splendid slagging match, tis good weading :p

Unfortunatly I can't weely contribute to the argument due to myself being in a state of 'carlessness' but meh dad has a Scooby Impreza WRX at 5.7sec 0-60, if that can participate, and yes as you're all waiting with baited breath to hear, I have sat in the driving seat, woah. I can even make the 'bruuuuum' sounds to pretend it's actually moving. I've even been allowed to switch the lights on before, tis exciting stuff.

Quite splendid.

Prolly will be TUG. I don't really care though, for two reasons:

1) When I get back from a month in spain and some other travelling, I'll be buying either a lotus elise, or some sort of westfield/caterham with a cheap run around for winter days :)

2) If I wanted my car to be faster, I'd take a leaf out of your book and take my car to be tweaked and super charged up to 200bhp. However I can't be arsed modding cars, so I'll just buy a faster one instead.

Not to mention when I have a fast car, I won't be taking it to McDonalds car parks and cruises, or pulling donuts in it to impress the ape-like intellect onlookers.

WRXs own bb :D

tis a b00tiful car. Such a low centre of gravity and 4wd means it just clings to corners at phenomal speeds and an engine sound which just rushes adrenaline.

all this 'my car is faster than yours' is nonsense!

the driver of the car makes all the difference - sure i could own a scooby but a good driver in a nippy hatchback could have me on the twisties.

My 206 being a 1.4 ain't mega powerful but when i was up over box hill recently the rush i got on those country lanes was excellent! my eagle f1's just love those roads.
