and i got the car as a project car.. and exor, i never said anything about it being beat up. You know nothing about it, what it has / hasnt and what it looks like. so shut up and get your fucking facts right, dick.

and as for it not having much grunt... over a nova, it tends to be slightly quicker, and does 0-60 in under 9secs

thats plenty fast enough for an 18 year old...

my pioneer deh-6100r can play cd-rs (what cant.. lol) and cd-rw's

some older cd head units couldnt play CD-RW's, maybe even some now, so watch what you get...

My dads auto changer has problems reading CDRs....and most car CD drives still can't read CDRW.

But i'm looking to getting the kenwood one that supports mp3's - much better to bung a 100 tracks on one cd rather than having 10cd's cluttering the glovebox up

and im paying £1300 p/a ffs!!

im almost 20 and been driving a year n a bit..

so if i was to get a bigger car i'd probaby feel the dent at the bank


at least i build up my no claims this way, and in a years time i'll

have a 1.4 citreon saxo vtr or a pugeot 306 diesel which will be a nice change.

Even tho this trusty fiesta i have now is a great little car

got me 300 miles and back without changing oil or water and on £9 of petrol

And the jvc cd player i got in there is worth more than the car dammit

its got an alarm system that goes beep beeep too

When I first started driving at 17, I had a mini cooper, cost 250 quid to insure TPFT. After many disasterous car choices (MG metro x 2 ffs, Hoda civic gt, BMW 318 classic shape + some really shit family stuff)
Now, 13 years later, I got 2 cars, a nice sensible Renault Megan Scenic, for the family. And a rather nice, blue Beemer coupe 323.

Tbh, it doesn't matter what buzz words you're using, you're going to take an old, cheap car, and rude it up. Seems pretty cut and dry to me, not a lot of grey areas!

Also, my hairdryer has more BHP than your "BMW", so I guess that makes your engine what....a childs hairdryer? Not to mention my car weighs less, and is easily the faster accelerator of the two, so why my engine is so pitiful in your eyes I don't know.

I think we can sum up the differences pretty easily...my car is a roadster, I bought it from new. Your car is a very old saloon which you bought second hand for a no doubt small amount of money.
