Right. I'm trying to find the cheapest solution to creating a multi monitor system through adapters and the like. As part of my work I've created a DirectX system with the ability to render to as many screens as are connected to the computer. As such, I need to test it.

I'm running a 4870 1gb so I have two monitor outputs but short of buying further graphics cards, are there any cheap adapters which you can essentially 'stack' ontop of each other to split into a larger network of monitors? The monitors themselves aren't the issue at all.

Cheers in advance. :)

Unless you are cloning, you'll need more graphics cards.

You can probably find some cheap PCI-Express cards, but you'll be limited by your mobo.
