Msn & Ie

Well,
this is quite an odd tech support request.

I was at home in gloucester. My main brouser is firefox. In gloucester MSN and IE worked fine.
I moved back to southampton, MSN won't log in, IE can't log into MSN's site and nor can firefox.

However, when i connect to my Uni's VPN, and then try to log into msn, it works fine.

Anybody got any ideas?

Very strange. Got any strange DNS setup? What's the ISP?

What year are you in btw? I'm a 3rd year Comp Sci at Southampton.

dns is comming from our router, which is set up to recieve it from bulldog

changed my dns server to be bulldogs recommended ones for manual config. net works fine, msn still dosn't. will try safemode + networking now to see if its a program.
