are there any programs out there i can use to download mp3s without haveing to register?
having trouble with college server, cant get onto anything.

What speed connection you got at home?

Cos what i usually do is launch audio galaxy, then when at uni, etc, i can login on the webby and start whoring on the mp3's

Maybe you're not MEANT to connect. When I was at uni they blocked all ports except http port 80. Which meant anything that could use a proxy was buggered. They told is was for security reasons.
Pain in the arse really as it was a nice connection. When we were getting fast donwloads...they were FAST...I'm talking 800k a sec sometimes! Nice.
Maybe this situation exists at your uni?

Saying an area will never get broadband coverage, is a little strange. I live in a small village on the outskirts of nottingham, iv'e got it here

listen here. ive rang many a company to see when broadband will be available, they say, no plans to put it in my area until past 2004.
thats straight from bts, ntls/cable n wireless's mouth.
