I can't help it though, leaching is almost pointless on a 56k :/

It's not quantity that matters etc etc... it's the QUALITY. Not the quality of the mp3's, well yes, the quality of the mp3's... hmm... The quality of the songs rather than the quality of the mp3s... I've had my collection on random play for 2 days constantly now, and I can honestly say I haven't heard a song that I don't want in my collection :)

And anything I don't want in my collection isn't in there. :)

My calculations say that it would take nearly 20 days of continuous listening to go through Waz's collection.

Impressive !

No, no, no. You should be culled for that, that's hideous.

I suggest everyone go and get Pato Banton - Don't Sniff Coke, it's a superbly amusing track.

Yes, it is. Public, like fuck. I'm only on cable. I recently had to take measures into my own hands and really limit the users and badnwidth, as I didn't have bandwidth 24/7, with just the few private users I have.

858mB, just over 100 files. I honestly don't need gigs worth; if I ever get tired of listening to a track more than once I delete it, and I never download full albums or rip any of my CDs (I'd rather listen to them on my stereo). Most of the new stuff comes from surfing the mp3.com electronic section (and then I only keep a track if I REALLY like it), and the others are mainly older tunes from AudioGalaxy I haven't been able to find in the shops (same again; only the absolute best).

/edit - I'm sure half of all my posts end up at the start of new pages :/

what waz fails to mention is half of his mp3s are at 320kbps so they take up stupid amounts of space :)

"most"? No. My personal rips are 320k, but there's about 10 albums I've ripped in that.

I find 320 is totally pointless and use 192 since things I've read seem to put it as the best bit rate.
