Vent has been a blessing and also a curse for gamers. Its great for organisation and getting your own little groups / guilds working together sadly the flip side of this is there's no interaction with anyone outside of your own little circle. People are less inclined to just randomly group in games and when they do theres no talking, no banter and not alot of socialising, which for me was the best part of MMO's.

totally agree with you there Aph3x

Yup same as , i can run 2 accounts and firefox no lag but 1 account and vent and i lag to hell and get like 4-5 second delay on vent so means i cant really 8 man well , which is a pain as im a sociable guy and decent player but im by default excluded :D

The bandwidth vent uses must somehow screw with my mobile net and no proper net for another 6-9 months

WoW was good until you get to the bastard 'endgame' and realise your paying £9 a month to sit in Dalaran and jump around on a funny mount.

Yea i got to 5900GS in under 3 months on my rogue then realised i had no interests in the achievement system and after 2-3 days camping the level 30 alliance quest village near stormwind killing everything and anything that this endgame didn't appeal :p

been playing mount and blade since i saw this thread and starting to love it. Never bothered with the single player and went straight into multiplayer. Takes some getting used to, and you come across some good players but im getting better ;D

I think I'll give it a try if you guys are still around when I return to the civilized world from Africa.

Somehow, people have the need to jump around like morons. In this game, and every game. Is it so hard to stand still?

Me and Dave will be onboard for this in a cupple of days :)

DLed it and played some MP I hosted myself ( need to activate it to play on up to date servers ), but I seen the ping is like minimum 300 on all servers I get up so not too sure about that.

How is the ping for you guys? Might be my "pirated" version that shows bogus ping or something?

Played so far with my bots on deathmatch mode, really fun to be honest..getting my skills horned for the cavalry :)

Can't wait to go on real MP servers and mow down the peasents with my warhorse and lance!

Could get some nice fraps in this game aswell if your good with the camera pan, got this awesome headshot with a hilbard the other day thay was simply awesome guy had no fing chance xD
