Specially if u dont have any other chance to play DAOC as a non-english/french/german/italian native. Excalibur/Prydwen r the only options for spanish ppl to play DAOC, as, for most of us, english is the 2nd language here. And, u cannot make extensive the assumption of me-not-spaek-emglish to the whole spanish DAOC community, coz im sure u can hardly find 5 spanish players who dont know a shit of english (or at least spell correctly, "Sorry, i dont speak english, let me ask in /gu for a translation" )

i never said spanish players cant speak english.. i said that when you cant speak english you should expect to get some problems, but I never said that I assume that spanish players dont speak english nor do i assume that spanish player = no english.

I got ur point, i was trying to stress that there's one or a couple of spaniards players who don't speak english (i know who they r, n believe me they allways try to do their best), but the majority of us know how to communicate in english (ask Asel e.g, ive been told he didnt know a shit about english before joining GoL, n look at him now, he even tries to lead /cg in eman :lol: )

ALL the spanish peeps I've meet (and YES, it's quite alot!) don't really understand WTF U'r saying, so I have freedom to express my oppinion, and experience on the forum, right? (sry Sweden, but I had to choose a country :/ .. but U know I luuuve U ? ) It's just that it's an english server (excal and pryd), so U MUST atleast expect some sort of level in writing english... Why generalize and say that *all* spanish people don't know english and behave badly when its simply not true?

I have met more assholes in daoc that speak good english than ones that speak bad or no english (and i do know enough spanish to know that I haven't been cursed at in that language ).

There are several people on excal and pryd that speak no or very little english, but why flame a country because of the behaviour of a few?

Pfffft Filip, I considered posting that one myself but TBH once I found out the guy in question had logged off a few mins earlier it became alot less embarassing. And my remark about him was honest and truthful without unncessary namecalling or anything so I quite frankly have no problem standing for it

But yes it was a bit embarassing when I saw it pop up in the wrong color and all my emain group started telling me off, I generally avoid public comments like that that could make people think I'm not as nice as I'm working to make them think I am. I'm really quite paranoid about making officer messages over alliance, just 1 little letter and it's the difference between talking to a select few and a few hundred

nukede a caster to like 2% Hp in FS and decided i would make a staff kill... bad idea, since the caster was a friar and when i used qc DD he was resistet

Spellede our Guild name wrong in my sig allso, until my gm noticed it and asked me to correct it
