/edit i hasten to add that i had mm health left when i reached the sorc. i air swiped twice tho, parried a couple of staff hits but then the sorc mashed me on the head with 2 uber 30ish damage swipes and killed meh.

Running around with my Druid on Camlann, 2 non DAoC friends over who just shook their heads at it mostly, so I started going on about PvP and how I could kill most people running past me but they were only greys so I chose not to because they were harmless to me anyway. So after a while they talked me into displaying my "awesome powers", approached 2 greys who apparently thought pretty much the same thing and both Vendo'd and ripped me apart god knows how fast...

and i said something like "Yeah sometimes th spanish are realy annoying" over cammy broadcast rather than to /gu

nb. 99% of the time spanish people are lovley but theres just a few times where ive met one and they've been complete fools. So dont be offended if your spanish please

new fancy patch hit euro and i spec to 50 instuments...

and now i can charm bloodletters... to show of to some RL friends at 0500 am in the morning i charm a bloodletter on the bolg hill and slowly drraagss him all the way to gorge..

where i find a bard...and in some incredible way i mess everything up ..

forget abalative... forget to IP ... forget to command the pet to attack the bard untill late in the figth ..

etc etc

so i end up dying to a solo bard when i had a bloodletter pet...
... with Brommix/smokee/taunter laughing their ass off in RL about my new fancy spec

Its true many spanish players cant talk english at all but, they come here to play the game, most of em are in only-spanish guilds and play with their friends who can understand em, they are just trying to have fun as u could try.

There are no spanish daoc servers, and those are not english servers, those are EU servers, they have excatly the same rights u got to play here.

I would like to see u in their situation, imagine every1 talks spanish and no1 understands english.. just use ur imagination and tell me if ur comment is fair.

first of all english is an international language .. everyone learns english in public school .. Denmark(where I live), Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany .. etc. etc. etc. all of these and more learn english, and HAVE to learn it...

and if U don't learn english in the school the television, Internet, books and <insert international media here> will !!!

well fyi that is untrue. and starting with a is a bit lame.

English is an international language yes, its the easiest and most used langage around the world, but its not a must everywhere. In Spain and many other countries (france, italy,..) english is a choice, u dont have to learn it and u really do NOT live with it.

I decided to study english long ago, has been like 4years since i had my last english lesson and nowadays my english skills are preety lowered. why? cos we dont live with english, internet and daoc is the only actual place in which i use it. (oh and i must b one of the 1% spanish population seen any of the english TV channels eventually --- theres like 3-5 english channels outa hundreds u get on cableTV, while not a single one public, and 2-3 of those are music channels ofc )

U are very naive, grow up a bit and dont make assumptions like this based on YOUR way of life.

lofff I wouldnt join a spanish server if I cant talk spanish reasonable . I think you can expect people to speak the language off the game , but if they dont that their choice, but it does make it hard to play with the other people on the server .

my most embarrasing thing is (i think ) dieing in venco cavern when i was at lvl 32 and highest person in the dungeon is actually 30

Playing while drunk as a skunk. Decided to go to emain and trundled off on my own to amg. A little hunter jumps out and waves, dances etc in front of me. Haha I thought, easy rps. Start drunkenly hitting the keyboard. But instead of my trusty sword and shield being drawn and slaying the foe, for some reason my xbow kept being drawn. Over and over again. A short while later, lying face down in the emain grass with the hunter crying at me and hugging me, I slowly realised through the haze that I had the wrong qbar up. Ehrm actually there is a thing called friendship. Some of the me-not-spaek-englishe ppl simply play this game coz they have old friends that play it. Im sure u would join an spanish server if all of ur friends played there.

As U might can see in my english, I haven't had a lesson in like 3½ years now ... but with that said, if I should say so myself, Im pretty good at communicating with any person on the server...

depends, but i doubt it. As I have no way off communicating with 99% off the server and in a mmorpg that gives me some problems. Besides there are enough games out there which i can play with friends where i can understand the main language.
I would however think about joining a french server if that was my only option, but I can speak a little bit off french and understand it a little bit. Besides after playing 3 months on such a server, I would most likely be able to understand the french needed to not piss off any realm mates and I would most likely learn the first sentence sorry I am asking friends for translation and then ask it in/gu. If that isnt an option, dunno what i would do, but if such a thing happens alot i think i would stop playing.

However i never said dont come here if you dont speak english, I did say you severly gimp yourself by doing so. Which in my view is true. Ow and chosen there is no dutch server there are German servers. They could choose not to play the game though and just for the spanish people that play daoc atm i doubt they could fill up one server. So no goa shouldnt do that. Besides they would need to think off the risk off setting a new server up vs amount off people who will play daoc in spain now and also if they want to bother with that as they do need to get extra people for those servers.

But again i want to stress that I do think that people who dont speak english should be able to play on this server, but you can expect people to get severly pissed off at you. Because in this game communication is important and you cant communicate to 99% off the server...
