Most beautiful cinematic moment

Ok I just watched the Godfather trio for the umpteenth time, and found myself in tears at the agony of Michael Corleone right at the end of Part 3. Thus, this moment tops my list of hair-raising lump-in-throat inducing celluloid experiences. The beautiful cinematography, the heart-rending music, and one of the finest on-screen performances of any film, by Al Pacino. Not forgetting of course the direction of Coppola.

Others I would include are:

Tom Hanks drinking from a canteen and looking over the Channel in Saving Private Ryan (that's quite a view - yes it is)

Mel Gibson raising his sword and screaming in triumph after his first victory over the English in Braveheart

Philedelphia - The funeral wake at the end, playing the old film of his Tom Hank's childhood

The Shawshank Redemption - Red reading the letter from Andy

Heat - Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro holding hands at the end

I really do love cinema.

Brassed Off - The speech at the Albert Hall.

As Good as it Gets - Jack Nicholson telling Helen Hunt she makes him want to be a better person - completely unexpected!

Godfather 2 - Vito Corleone's mother trying to save him from the local Don.

Forrest Gump - Bubba's death

Shawshank Redemption - Red on the bus.

The end of American History X. I won't spoil it.

Boromir's death in LOTR really got me too.

I wouldn't describe the ending of American History X beautiful. Very moving but not beautiful.

The sex scene in the film Heaven with Cate Blanchett and Giovanni Ribisi. But then that film was packed with what you would call "beautiful cinematic moments". That or something equally pretentious.

Post pics if possible, people!

This beautiful tracking shot from Once Upon a Time in America:

The bit in Saving Private Ryan when Hanks begins to cry, checks over his shoulder to make sure his squad isn't nearby, then hunkers down to continue crying.

Disney's The Fox and the Hound when the fox gets shot. I cried buckets, but then I was only 6.
Starman when the alien finally makes it to the crater and says goodbye to Jenny.
Many scenes already mentioned.
