So I am a n00b with monitors I have no idea what i should be looking for. I currently have a Samsung 2032 which is showing its age and I have been looking at the following two monitors on Dells Site.

Now with windows 8 having a very good touch Interface the Touchscreen is grabbing my attention just for the novelty factor alone. What I would like to know if how much better will the LED screen be Dynamic contrast is 8million vs 50thousand. I just do not know if i should go for the better "gaming" spec monitor or if the Touchscreen model will be just as useable in the real world?
