Afternoon peeps.

Just a quick question for you al , hope you can help me out here.
Does anyone know of any good Financial program were you can add in you income , bills and such so you can keep a track of what you have left after your hard weeks work. Any help is much appreciate. Thanks LP ;)

Well, an excel spreadsheet never goes amiss. I tend to just use a piece of lined paper to write down what goes in and out (mainly out) each day. Works for me.

Other than that, software wise you could try Lotus Organiser. I think that has some money manager thing built in. You may have to un-americanise it though.

There is a package which allows you to track your accounts and will also electronically pay your bills (if configured correctly).

I think the package is called "Quicken"

If anyone cares I've been using the same 'Budget.xls' file since March 1999. It's soldiered on through three versions of Excel and hasn't let me down yet.

Um... carry on.

*cares*

how interesting Summo, thanks for that.

Mrs Wil uses Microsoft Money that came with our *ahem*Tiny PC 4 years ago. As far as Im aware, it does all she needs.

(Like tells her how much money she has, and how much we dont have. )

Yep Microsoft Money 200x and Quicken 200x would be more than adequate for your needs. Takes a while to set them up and running, but then so would designing a spreadsheet
