Probably have to farm items again too to get mummified though as the quest would have re-set for 5.9.

Only need 5.10 here, we've tried with 2fgs twice but to no avail. If there are enough people who still need 5.9+.10 I'll organise a raid for these 2 encounters only (5.1-.8 are group steps anyway, can't have a BG waiting for respawns).

5.1-5.8 are group trials and take a couple of hours.
So erm... get a group and do them?

If you got credit for 5.1-5.8 there shouldn't be a problem. Once more, it just doesn't make sense doing 5.1-5.8 in BG as only one group gets credit at a time and there is a respawn timer on those mobs. It'd take ages to do these with a BG with say 4 fgs (which is the minimum number of people we need for 5.10 without being afraid of getting wiped in the first 10 minutes).

2fg is pretty standard. As long as you aren't 7 infils, 6 scouts, a 2h paladin and 2 BBs 'healing'.

Well we got 2fgs with rather decent peeps (s/s pallys, rej clerics, ice wizard, mercs) and we could barely scratch it. I had a talk with Amandil/Earath the other day and he said 2fgs was a bit thin too and I trust him on that, he's done the ML's numerous times and got a lot of PvE raid experience (40-50 Sidi raids count for something, don't they). With public groups you can't pick players, there's no telling if there will be 10 infils or 10 mercs joining so I think 4fgs is quite alright if you want to be on the safe side.
