As I said, people didn´t know what to expect in advance and that´s where all the anger is coming from. Slow raids, ok. Failed raids, ok. Messed up lotto, ok. But you should always make it 100% clear what system is being used for people to join the raid. If he had stated "raid is limited to 80 people, if numbers of attending people excedes 80, you´ll have to /random 100 for a spot" everybody would have been aware of the risk and the chance that you might waste an evening. Not too much to ask is it.

Imagine my surprise when i was told in /AS chat that places where being lotto'ed for.

Why not just PW the BG at 64 names. Not that difficult. Then you /anon to avoid PM's - tell ppl in /BG that ur anon , and then say ur moving out in 10 mins.

Once you've moved, you then come off of Anon, and Set an AFK flag to say 'ML3 Groups all full - Sorry.'

If you're not told no signups, no first come, first served, how are people ever going to understand what they are supposed to be doing before the raid, let alone during.

Everybody has an opinion about everything....even ppl who were not even there. So I didnt handle it 100% perfectly according to some judges...big fucking deal - your life is over?

Stop whining, and if you are not happy, do it yourself, do it better then me - it's not hard as it seems since i screwed it all up this badly. Take the other 8-10 fgs who didnt get it done, set a date, and help them!

Sure, I could have made egg and sword farming a pre.req, but why stop there? Surely more steps could be made pre.req (after all a good/well balanced fullgrp can do almost the entire ML), that way the raid can be done in 2 hours.

Next time please, YOU who know the best, do this shit so I dont have to. I be more then happy with a passive role. Everybody seems to forget that we in fact did finish this with roughly 10 fgs...and no....sword/egg farming was not a pre.req... maybe I should give albions more credit "next time" and assume that everybody has the contacts/numbers to get the farming part done by their own power. Then again, it's not my problem anymore, since there wont be a next time.

For all those ppl who got rejected, again Im sorry and I hope you can forgive and move on with your virtual lives.

Give the guy a break imo, he made a mistake, big deal. Not as if any of the people posting here have never made a mistake and alienated a few people. Wasnt like you all HAD to get ML3 THAT night. And yes i know that some of you may have had to organise things in real life around this raid etc, but if you had to do that, you need to ask yourself WHY tbh. The day an online computer game is taking preference over important real life stuff you really really need to take a break.

And if it really is that god damn important to you..

Organise it yourself.

you missed the point. a lot of people who either signed up or agreed about FG going gave up their evening of doing something in RL only to be told there wasn't a space. Its them who feel let down.

OK Guys

i think its time to set a few things straight regarding the raid.

firstly i want to say i think enough has now been said everyone has made there point and that should be the end of it once and for all!

I think that something really important has been overlooked here here and i would like to point out to all concerned that

1.The guy said he was going to do the raid for 8 full grps- THIS WAS DONE!

2. Everyone got what they needed!! (apart from obvious Lds)

3.if you read the original posting for this raid he said that his decision was final and a lotto happened to make it fair to all who turned up!

All this has now done has make this person wonder why the hell they bothere, and in my book that is a very bad thing, its so hard to arrange these raids and run them, all you have done is alienate another good person that wanted to help the rest of us, if thee isnt more patience and cooperation this game is soon going to be on its last legs and i think thats a bed thing, maybe all those that complained so much might like to think twice about what they have said, i thought it was well worth the effort he made

Its no wonder silly amounts of people show up to open raids when this is the kind of thanks raid leaders get for trying to do one. Wasn't on this one but had good experiences of [e]'s raids in the past and hope this doesn't put him off leading more. Seems he had a choice between people whining because their group wasn't accepted on the raid or whining and going nuts when the farming took until 2am.
