If you want take out a personal vendetta against me publicly feel free. I love the hate. Infact it fuels my passionate desire to increase my currently non-existent e-peen. And your nameless dig here has indeed forced me to crawl out from underneath my own little rock and proclaim my guilt.

It was i! After leading i decided that i wanted the Phoenixx remains so i took it! (no you wont find them for sale either)

I now feel so dirty and naughty. I don't know how i will continue with my daily life. I suffered 3 hours of ignorance from a 60-100 man BG in which half decided to randomly AFK, run off, not listen, and make my evening a living hell. I got countless pm's proclaiming obscenities at me. Why? Because after giving LD's 2-3 minutes to relog i moved on. Because dead people had not informed me they hadn't been rezzed after i'd moved on. Because people were requesting credit for a step without saying what step they wanted.

I even wasted about 20 minutes of the BG's time running people around to rezz those who had decided to sod off and not stick like i had asked them to.

So for you to come up here to a board and take a personal dig at me for deciding to keep some remains. I'd like to thank you. It's a really touching sentiment and i dont know how i will ever repay you.

Why is after every ML raid one or more people have to criticise the raid leader(s)? Recently I've had to defend Bugzy on Pryd.net since someone saw fit to post his unhappiness on a public forum and I've just read another post on here that does the same.

Personally i would like to thank Spammah for getting us as far as he could yesterday before tiredness/illness forced him to retire and then Meddie for stepping in to get us through ML7. Although I didn't go on ML8-9 with Nib it is obvious that they were successful so congratulations and thanks to him as well.

Standard rules for any raid is that a raid leader can claim one item as reward for putting up with the mountains of abuse, incompetence, inability to listen/read that seems to be part and parcel of any large raid nowadays. There seems to be a number of people, and it's the same names coming up every time, that are causing the same problems. That wipeout yesterday at Katorii was down to a number of people not paying attention, going AFK for long periods of time without telling people, not reading BG chat and specifically, and I have the chat logs backing it up, pulling Katorii before the BG was prepared. If Nib decided that he wanted the Phoenix remains then all power to him. Frankly it is unrealistic for anyone to go on an ML9 raid and NOT expect the raid leader to claim the remains in my opinion.

I've said this before, and it looks like I'll keep saying it until I'm blue in the face since the people it is primarily aimed at simply are too ignorant to read or understand this anyway, but no big BG raid will ever be perfect and if someone wants to criticise then they should run their own. It is surely getting to the stage where the raid leaders will simply no longer want to put themselves in the firing line anymore and we already have issues on this realm over togetherness and mutual support.

It was me who said perhaps take the remains for our guildhouse, figured it wouldnt hurt anyone.

If the original raidleader would have stuck with it you wouldnt even had a chance to roll for the 9.10 items? And you woudnt have the remains either. And if you where in a group that had a chance of hitting stuff hard enough to get all the loot, tough luck, I decided it wasnt fair to ask several groups to stay downstairs and keep the generators down, effectively removing their chance on the loot.

They take the time to prepare for a raid and endure the hassle/grief during it so more power to them.

I join ML raids to get credit not loot so as far as I'm concerned the leader can claim what they want - if you want loot organise your own raid or hope for the best on a lotto should there be one.

So... what your saying is that if you figure it won't hurt anyone you can take the loot?... So... I'll run a raid... then in my oblivion thinking hey noone wants these 16 fixed levi/kraken drops - I'll take them?

ml7.10 will be bg treasurered and none of the loot will be lottoed. (if you disagrea, tough tities and make your own ml)
I might turn treasurer on, for 9.10 and lotto that off at the end, because there will be 3 generator teams that have no chance at getting the loot otherwize.

Solari, until you run raids with such extreme amounts of people (100 - sometimes moving up to 200) it is really isn't that fair an assumption to argue. Personally, your lucky Nibs only took the ML 9.10 remains. On my raids I preclaimed everything from 8.10 and 9.10, same reasons given as Nibs, leading a BG that size is a nightmare. People assume leading a BG is easy and quite simple as leading the zerg to the place and saying 'zerg.' It's not. Having people not stick you, having people die to AFKing, having people AFKing and not accepting rezzes, having people PM you with credit they already have, having people PM you asking for credit but not giving the step, having people PM you abuse because they don't agree with something, people not listening to you and endangering the whole BG, people questionning your means because they think they know it all, people constantly asking what steps have been done, what steps need to be done and how long the BG will take. That's just a small amount of what a BG leader has to put up with in such large number BG's.

Personally, I feel Nibs did a good job and I came for ML 8 and 9 and I ended up with ML 8 and 9. But people who moan who don't have as much experiance in running ML raids as someone else really does annoy me.

At no stage did I ever use the word arrogant in that statement and yet you feel you can try and mock me by putting in a URL to a dictionary. All you've done there is actually prove my point about people not being able to read. In fact if any of us can be accused of arrogance at this stage I believe it to be you since you have tried to put words into my mouth in a bad attempt to justify your own point of view.
