I'm glad I got a vast majority of mine done before cluster, is it just me or are they taking a LOT longer now... Discuss!

P.S. I'm not saying that Excal/Albs are thick as shit and can't follow simple instructions. No I'm not.

P.P.S. No really I'm not. Honest.

Hey I'm not tarring them all with the same brush but after several of my guildies being on raids taking 2 or 3 times the normal length of time with the same number of people, you start to wonder.

I see it more as a the raid before cluster was run by same few people that knew what they doing. Last few I been on have been raids where leader not really knowing what to do all the time which makes em slower 99% of the time. Im not saying they are bad leaders just not as experienced and stuff.

Either that or the Prydwen raid leaders are on general just better. Bossie-excalibur seems pretty good at leading in rvr but I've yet to hear one that can touch GReaper and co in PVE.

Raids i go on and help out on are faster if anything due to extra people! Why?

because we dont wait for ld's and just get on with it (due to grant credit), some people still not got to grips with this idea

we leave at the stated time no matter what-if people are late it their fault,

and before the raid people area warned that if they fuck about they will not
be welcome- a threat that unlike others I stick to. Quite a few people have been on the end of BG removal's on steps that they got no way of doing solo/small group (8.10, 4.2 etc). This is one the reasons GR gives me the BG, he knows that I will not take any shit from anyones. Do what you meant to your fine, you fuck about and risk ruining it for rest your gone.

edit:

Please note, only go on ML raids with leaders i know and respect. All toons i want ML'd are now done but GR knows i will come to help him out on others even if i gain nothing

greaper's leading is godmode ;D
cause we all love and respec him, we listen to him(mostly)
i said it before and i'l say it again, it seems to me most of the excal inhabitants are alot more stupid than the prydwen ones...

I very much doubt that the best pryd raids are any better than the best excal raids.

Most good excal ML raid leaders arn't particularly active in running raids at the moment however, and the last few i've heard reports from have appeared to be complete disasters.

While i'm not arguing that there's a goodly quota of muppets on alb/excal. Have you also considered that the excal peeps are just used to doing stuff a different way. If on excal for the past 8 months everyone stands in spot A during a step, then someone from pryd tries to do it standing in spot B, there's going to be that moment of chaos..

Maybe it's just that the pryd leaders are crap ofc and don't know how to control a zerg, or lead ML steps where everyone doesn't do exactly what they say! But then we'd just be throwing insults around wouldn't we. :fluffle:

Glad to hear, hope they become a little more active soon :)

Some of the recent raids haven't been that great, mainly with leaders taking things a bit too slow and forgetting the required items.

However leaders only get better with experience! I'm sure some people will remember one of my very first ML3 raids were the battlegroup didn't speak to Kepa and didn't get credit, this wasn't very good considering it was 1AM and most people decided to log! Also one of my ML8 raids I forgot to use the key to get the gem to start on Talos. :(

You learn different things after each raid you lead. Avoiding djinn stones with a 200 player battlegroup is one of them! Always get enough items to attempt 2.9 twice, etc.

Now why does this sound so familiar...? Oh wait, it happened on a raid today! :(

You sir, are the idiot!

Have been on a few ML's recently on both Excal and Pry and yes a few, not all on Excal did have some hiccups. Mainly because people did not loot for required items or were afk when asked to check. Were these people from Excal or Pry? No idea and I don't care, shit happens. Some of the raid leader are not that experienced but at least they are trying to help.

Ever been on an Eggy Ml Raid? Doubt it, otherwise you wouldn't have bothered writing flame bait like the above.

If your so bloody superior you start to organise a few and we'll see how they go.

I think its eggy's flaut he's raised the bar of what ppl on excal expect from a raid leader..... I think u prdy peeps shud go on one of his raid's b4 u pass comment as i think most of you dont come up to that standard.:fluffle:

As for prdy v excal since cluster ive never seen so many gimps out in rvr unbuffed sb's :worthy: blue con albs....

Is hole thread just flame bait realy, or are u realy that stupid?

Thankyou for the kind words and I would like to add that I often lead BGs on Favail instead so look out for hers as well if you are after siege driven rvr - everyone is always welcome but as yet I don't have a good network of Pryd contacts in order to pass word around when I'm planning something.
