ML BG Steps <Again> Saturday

Going to be another one on Saturday 7:30 so get ya pre's done peeps

Im not going to lotto myself as i couldnt give a flying fuck anymore about drops and im sick of this bullshit where people roll for shite they cant use and sell it on thier cm RAR !!! uke:

But Everyone else is able to free for all lotto on the Drops

Bg will be up on me, come along to help Albion or for Greed or whatever, last one i led went well and people listnened at the boat/mummy step so im hoping for the same this time. Hope to see u there

MAKE SURE U HAVE THE PRES DONE - Im still not 100% sure if u only need the 3 - of the way - items to credit 5.9 but u CANNOT grant credit for that step as it is a group step not BG.

You can't turn into a Mummy without standing on the table and /use'ing the 3 items, so you do need to have them in order to recieve credit for 5.9 and subsequently enter 5.10.

I think it will be a great help for ppl if you wrote what ML BG Steps you are going to make on the raid.

You can't turn into a Mummy without standing on the table and /use'ing the 3 items, so you do need to have them in order to recieve credit for 5.9 and subsequently enter 5.10.

You can't turn into a mummy if you've not done all the other group steps - even if you have the 3 items. You also need to be in mummy form to summon the boat - but only one person needs to do that.
You can still get credit for 5.10 however even if you're not a mummy, just stay in the room before Ammut so he doesn't spam adds at you.

I think it will be a great help for ppl if you wrote what ML BG Steps you are going to make on the raid.

I think the vast majority of Daoc players know full well how many BG steps there are on ml5 and if they dont then maybe they shuld go read up on ToA b4 trying some of the stuff <There is rarely a new player coming to the servers anymore so its highly unlikely people dont know or wont be told b4 this>

Christ almighty , and secondly if u actually read i said i dont know if u > only< needed the Wrap of the ways items for the mummy. Ie : That if u had done 5.6 5.7 and 5.8 u could turn into one. Thats why i said to get all the pres done. Its my assumption u DO actually need ALL the steps 5.1 - 5.8 b4 it transforms you. I have allways done them all myself and never tried just using the wrap steps and items.

I suppose a lot of people Assume its a BG step cos the BG normally runs through it together with each other but aye its a group step. Hence thats why it cant be grantcredited. See what i mean about people not reading up on ToA lol. Thx for correcting him there jarod

I believe from looking at who he was quoting, the ebayed comment was actually refering to the guy asking which BG steps we would be doing. He was trying to be clever by saying that the guy should know that only 5.9 and 5.10 were steps done on a ML5 BG raid.

Had he actually bothered reading the thread, he would of course know that what he was asking was, were we doing ml5, as it wasn't stated if we were doing ml5, ml8 or ml2
The fact that he listed 5.9 as a BG step not a group step (even tho it's done on a BG raid just made his attempt even funnier)

ok i put it in capitals for the less than fourtunate brains department in big bold letters so its easier to read .

THIS RAID IS FOR DOING THE 2 STEPS ON MASTER LEVEL 5 THAT ARE NOT CONSIDERED PRESTEPS. IE : THE POISEN WATER STEP WHICH IS A GROUP STEP AND NOT A BG STEP BUT WILL BE DONE BY THE ENTIRE ZERG. AND - THE 5.10 STEP TO KILL THE BOSS (I FORGET HOW TO SPELL HIS NAME).

THE REASON BEING THAT PEOPLE WHO HAVE DONE THE PRESTEPS CAN ACTUALLY FINISH OFF ML5 , SO AS TO GET THIER WONDERFULLY USEFUL ABILITES LIKE FOP ETC.

Why this even turned into some sort of flame is beyond me, you try to make something to help other people and u get picked on Q_Q. And yes ok so i didnt make it 100% clear in the Thread title but i garuntee 95% of people who saw it knew what i meant.
