@ ML 8 saturday early morning

I cant see any posts reguarding this, so i feel like i have to say something...

There are a few things you should know before leading a ML raid, and that is to know EXCATLY what you have to do, and make sure u got ALL items required to complete the ML. Some ppl joined the raid at ML 1 and went through ML 4 and 6 just to help out, cus they only needed ML 8. When you then start ml 8 at 2am, everyone is pretty tired and want to be done asap. When you then find out 3 hours later at 5am, 2nd last step "oops i dont seem to have all the items we need, so we have to quit", more than a few ppl are gone be upsett, cus now they have to go through the same ML for 2+ hours more another time.

So please, next time you decide to lead an ML, be 200% sure u know how to do everything and got all you need to complete it, and not waist 3 hours of ppl`s time in the middle of the night....

Fair point I must admit but atleast that person who ran the ML Raid, ran one... Yes, they made a big cock up but shit happens.

the point is, dont run one... if they dont know what they are doing.... if its a mistake , thats fair enough....

we all make them... ask Lookdaddy for more details, or ask XXX for deleting his Ancient Copper neckless, or ask that same XXX for buying a pot off my CM for 3plat.... but the morale here is, its all good wanting to lead a raid, but leave it to the professionals Oo hence why you never see xroo pve raids

You dont have to be a professional to lead ML`s. But u need to be 100% sure what you are doing. Some ppl may set off real life things to attend your raid, cus ml`s dont always fit time scedual or something, so you dont wana waist 50+ ppls time. Attending an ML before you lead it is a good idea. I salute ppl who take the responsibility of leading an ML, but in this perticular raid, leader did obviously not know we had to. We had to give up cus leader did not have the items from grp steps, so we could not complete the step. It sais clearly on VoS what u have to do.

Normally i defend people that lead largescale raids. But this particular raid was abysmal. The BG was constantly spammed with no hope coming from the BG leader. The BG leader was giving instructions far too late leaving it open for individuals/groups to ruin encounters because they hadn't been given instructions by the ML leader before they arrived at the ML step. But the step that finally took the biscuit was 8.10 we arrived at the battlefield, the leader went to the steps and said..."why didn't he take all the items?"... the BG leader was totally unaware you needed all 9 items to create Agnes and the people who had got the pieces in the BG earlier had likely left already because of the abysmal way the raid was being run so at 8.10 the raid was cancelled and anyone who argued with Plaqued was booted from the BG and not allowed to lotto. One of the most important things to do on ML8 is to get the pieces of Agnes as you do the steps not to wait until the end and then ask the BG what you're doing! Just reading VoS tells anyone exactly what they need.

But you'd think that was the end of it right? It couldn't get any worse? Well it did! The lotto was a shambles, the BG leader put the items out in small lists and didn't reveal the best items till near the end which is when most people had already left the raid because he hadn't told them more items would be coming up. We all thought because he'd shown approximately 10 items that it was the final lotto, but no after that lotto i remained in the BG while the majority left and then more items appeared, ML6 robe, flayed cetus skin etc etc all very good items not included in the main lotto.

Abysmal raid, abysmal BG leader and i pray he never attempts to run a ML raid again because it would be just as chaotic as last nights. Now over 50 people have been forced to wait for someone else to run ML8 and go through the ENTIRE raid again because of Plaqued. Abysmal.

pwt disasterous is more like a better word.. now to clearify what went wrong: at 8.5 i forgot that i needed that marble thing from the statues, we went off to get it. as we went back someone attacked kratos as i handed in the sack.. he didnt give the body part.
At 8.8 the person looting put the part of the body in his inv and vent to sleep or something.
As for not knowing what im doing, well it just got to late and i couldnt rember all i had written down from vos.
as for the lotto, it was said in the bg that i would drop 8 items from my backpack in the bg, then the next page and so forth till i ran out of stuf.
now last thing all we need to do is redo 8.8 as i farmed the 8.5 stuf again and the we could do the 8.10 step.. but then again i cba.
