We can also measure Chronictank's BIM (Brain Intelligence Mass) as well. Problem is you need at least 1 brain cell to get on the scale.

Never mind mate, maybe next year your one half of a brain cell would have doubled :p

Cool 1/2 a brain cell is enough to get a First in a BSc, thus meaning i am in the top 10% of UK graduates.
This would indicate i achieved more than 90% the rest of the people who graduate (so discounting all the people who failed), considering university is now a requirement the number of people in work and on apprentaships would be negligble (big assumption ofc, but a logical one) compared to undergraduates in university.

But the point is, if i have half a brain cell.. that would more than likely leave you with proportionately less

never mind, in a couple of years you might reach half a brain cell yourself. Maybe get a certificate made or something ;)

See this is the thing, according to you I have less BIM than you. That's ok, Explain the fact that I earn a lot more than you, own my own house, car, push bike, holiday abroad and eat out most nights.

Actually I prefer having a shitty BIM if that is what I get for it :)

How overweight/unfit you are is not based on your size it is based on your BMI, which i doubt you bothered to look up but never mind.

Digging around she is 12st 8lb, 5ft 10in t

So she is indeed overweight

tris wins (and owes me a rep for the effort :D)

Im sorry but, the BMI calculation thing is absolute bollocks, for MOST cases. Me, personaly am 16 1/2 stone and 6ft2, I have tiny amounts of fat, how ever, my BMI is still to high? Riggghht okay, so this means I need to do more exercise and lose weight? Also my life expectancy will go down? Haha, no. Also for pretty much every proffesional rugby player, there BMI is over the 'correct' BMI, so were all going to die young? Dont really think so to be honest with you.

If you want to play the e-peen game, i will humour you as i am bored while i do a install

Good for you, how much older than me were you again?
I earn 30k at 23 with a pension that will add 20% to whatever i put into it.
I will be on 35k by the end of this year which is where i intend to stay for tax reasons until i can get a job for 45k p yr to make it worth my while. Unfortunately due to the current market it is not viable for me to go contracting as the market is saturated.

I can get a house now as i have enough sitting in my bank for a 30% deposit on a 200k house but am not stupid enough to at the moment, i earn more money on what i have with it sitting in high interest accounts, ISA's and bonds rather than be in negative equity or buy to let.

Unlike yourself i could leave tomorow to go on holiday, such as my rescent trip to Barcelona which was planned the night before as i have few family commitments. I am not sure what it prooves but you mentioned it not me, assumably you wrongly assumed i dont have the financial assets to do this. In addition i travel in Club/Business or occasionally First every time i go on holiday as the old man works for BA, so i also get the perks of this.

A car is a given, but i dont use it much as i work in london so most of my travel is done by train.

As for eating out, each to their own i personally find the potions far too small when i could just go next door to tinseltown or a similar establishment for the same/less and get food i like and fills me up. I am not veign enough to go out to eat for the sake of looks when i can get better food elsewhere

Now to snap your next assumption before you make it my BMI is 19.5, and based on my last checkup a year ago i am perfectly healthy (blood pressure, heart rate etc etc)

What has all of the above achieved? absolutely nothing but it is amusing i hit a nerve when you threw the first unprovoked insult

Hehe, I earn more than you right now and did when I was your age. Taking inflation and my age into account means you are on a peasant wage when I was the same age.

You can get a house now? Wow, I am on my second house, I gave my first house to my kids, it is worth 250-300k now and I bought a second house for them.

You win on the holiday, I cannot leave tomorrow due to commitments at work, but they are commitments to my friends at work, I would not want right now and leave them in the lurch so I plan my holiday around my work colleagues and friends.

Shame to see you bite at this Deebs.

Intelligent are we Chronic? Stop making grammar and spelling mistakes then, big man. Claiming people with a BSc have half a brain cell (and I'm not a BSc'r so I'm not being oversensitive)

Just have a giggle rather than play this game too Chronic, you just sound like (contexually speaking) an arsewipe when you claim intelligence and fail to keep your own arguments or even your english flawless.

If you bothered reading he initiated it, i was bored so i "bit"

Because every post on a internet forum is grammatically correct and spell checked

Again try reading the thread and you will see the context,
Deebs called me unintelligent (assumably in a joking way), and i replied in the same way (again in a joking way)
He then took it personally (lol) and acted the "big man" on a internet forum, even though it was he who started this whole thing and took a joke out of hand

Hehe, I earn more than you right now and did when I was your age. Taking inflation and my age into account means you are on a peasant wage when I was the same age.
Taking into account the market conditions i would say it balances out or possibly even in your favour to make money in IT during the internet boom. You didn't even need a specific qualification to get into the job just general IT experience (from what the more senior people at work say, and from the fact the head of IT where i work is a chemist)

As for a "peasant wage", the average wage for IT is £24k-£26k, again i am doing rather well

You can get a house now? Wow, I am on my second house, I gave my first house to my kids, it is worth 250-300k now and I bought a second house for them.
So basically we are on equal footing if anything, there is a housing recession as well as the price of a property being significantly higher than the average wage. So yes being afford a house at my age is a reasonable achievement in this day and age.

You win on the holiday, I cannot leave tomorrow due to commitments at work, but they are commitments to my friends at work, I would not want right now and leave them in the lurch so I plan my holiday around my work colleagues and friends.
Nice attempt to turn it around, i do the same out of courtesy but it doesn't change the fact i can do it if i wanted to. Funnily enough i took you for a family man so i would have thought you would have responsibility to them hence the post i could go whenever you would have to organise around them, obviously i was mistaken.

You will probably reply to try and escalate this further because i have somehow bruised your ego playing the game you initated. All i have done is reply like for like and not strayed away from any comments you have made first so i am not going to apologise if you took offence tbh

So, lets get back on topic. Actually BMI is innaccurate only for people with a high amount of muscle mass, as muscle weighs more than fat. But if you work out you would know this. I very much doubt that her weight is from muscle by looking at that pic. But tris- already covered this point.

she's ok, doesnt really show england in a bright light if thats the best of the bunch

and i suppose you mean those "girls" that's so skinny that you see through them if you put a light behind them?

there's absolutely nothing wrong with that girl other then the fact that she actually looks healthy and not like a walking half decomposed corpse that ppl think is so "sexy" nowadays.

and the girl in post 1 is one of them. but aparently almost everyone here thinks she's fat and wants the size -1's to be the only ones represented.

So you earn £30,000 at the age of 23, just above the average wage with a first? I would not consider that a success. Good for you, you got a 20% extra offer on your pension but who actually cares? It all depends on how much money you commit to your pension as well as the fact that people earning £50k+ a year will have more in their pension fund, regardless of the offer your company provides for you. Your inability to find a suitable situation to go contracting (despite market saturatoin) shows your lack of intelligence, which you so vehemently preach about.

A £200k house? You want to live in a ghetto son? Anyway, who cares whether your money is in a high interest account. People who actually earn decent money (usually those who get a first, it seems we have an exception here) will sacrifice lots of interest for other, more appealing offers from banks.

And your above paragraph just shows the limited capacity of your job. So you could leave tomorrow? Sounds like a great job then, no responsibilities. Although I doubt your claim's authenticity, a job where you can just leave tomorrow is not worthwhile. Sure, I couldn't leave tomorrow, but I have commitments towards my friends, and although it is time demanding and hard to get a holiday, I will say that I earn over double of what you're earning. Therefore, I don't need daddy to get me into first class.

And this is relevent because? Do you think you are a better person because you go to certain types of restaurants? You sound like a stuck-up rookie to me.

Everyone has their own health. Myself, I am very healthy but to ridicule or attempt to ridicule someone because of your assumed supremacy with regards to health is just pathetic. If Deebs was in bad health (which I am sure he or she is not) then why the low blow? You are 23 you idiot, if you had a high blood pressure or high heart rate there would be something very wrong with your lifestyle.

Chronictank said:

If you feel the need to boast that much about yourself I would say that Deebs touched a nerve. No doubt you will flame me now, but that is expected from someone I chained in Thidranki. Your Theurgist was merely fodder.

I rate this thread 6 stars!

And Csaahn (no doubt Dorimor in an eloquent disguise) £23k is about the average graduate wage for an individual unless he perhaps has a degree in economics or medicine/chemistry related work OR is entering blue-chip companies.

Besides, a degree doesn't necessairily mean you start off at £40k wage or even £100k wage, it gives you the power of acceleration in most industries, where you can climb positions that would take an under-grad 3-4 times as long to fill.
