Minstrel speed

Can one have minstrel speed while your are poisoned? I poisoned a infil, sprinted off had a big gap, and the infil closed in way to fast for sprint. And when she came up behind i heard and saw the text that the infil was poisoned.

I'm fairly sure only the first tick kills speed, since I've had bard speed kick in on me whilst a dot and bleeds were still ticking on me....

any combat whatsoever puts minstrel into combat timer so no speed for 10 seconds this would be the same for an infi with minstrel in group only possible option is SoS which as you`ve said is impossible so he`s a haxxor

Actully thee are somee cases where if the minstrel spams speed song the infil (in this case) can pick up speed after about 5-6 seconds but the minstrel wont have speed still.

you know thats really weird, because just yesterday i was playing in bg on excal, i was running around alone and i came close enough to an inf to see him stealthed, rather than risk the fight as casters have soooo little hp in bg's so i turned and ran hit sprint and was a good 2 horse lengths between us i hadnt been snared or anything in fact, and i was sprinting in a straight line, yet he caught up with me and seemed to be moving faster! Anyway i didnt really care and didnt give it much taught, however later there was about 4 peeps in bg and on the cg one of them mentioned how an infil had caught up with them even tho they were sprinting, as if infils sprint speed was faster, i taught hmm weird, who cares ;p

But now that you mentioned this here seems odd

You can only hit speed with a dot/poison on you if the person who poisoned you has died. If they're dead then speed/stealth etc. all work fine.
