Tanks (Mythic stated Midgard is the melee realm, which came down to letting every viking (melee base class) use a 2 handed version of their weapon, albeit that midgards 2h have less damage increase then their albion/hibernia counterparts to make up for speclines (2handed) and god knows why for hibernia (celtic spear and Large weapons don't need secondary speccing either))

Probably agree with the majority of your post, however Hib hero's have to specifically train LW or CS and don't have the added bonus of a 1h/2h one line for mids, i.e Thanes/Skalds can use 1h or 2h. Granted hero's are nice.

You can make a rvr hero , get 1h to about 6-10, shield 42, cs or lw 50 and rest parry. You can also respec that at lvl 50 to 50 spear, 42 shield and the rest parry, maybe just 6 blunt for pve taunt.

Most hero's atm are probably 50 sword, 42 shield, 20-30 LW/CS rest parry and likely to respec 1.52. At this point they will get a lot better.

Think Ladder has about 60 in shield with bonuses and ranks.

The armour damage tables totally nerf Hib slash and one advantage you Mids have is your weapon styles are generally much better. Our blades line is ok, but blunts is just crud. Blunts do more damage and imho are cool, but the anytime styles of blades are so nice. It's just they don't hurt so much.
