Mythic was born in Albion therefore the love, more classes, uber etc etc.
Hibernia was a golfresort with some classes for albion to fight.
Midgard was created with less classes and worse to their counterparts. The reason to this is simple. Mythic needed some gimps for entertainment for the other 2 realms. (mostly Albion)

Jenna: Don't forget that minstrels also have chain armour
Klav: Hunters only have Evade I yet


Now to whine some about me beastcraft line

Yes with high beastcraft we can occasionally charm lvl 41 pets if we are very lucky. Getting pets in emain maybe 1 of 6 travels there I find a lvl 41 pet if I spend time looking for one. And in 1 of 6 times an infil stalks me and stabs while I try to find the highest pet around. Usually the time I jump with joy for finding a lvl 41 pet.

With epic armours the AF buf is rendered completaly useless since it doesnt stack.

The lvl 41 pet buf is mostly useless since we mostly have lower lvl pets If we even bothered to charm one.

Now according to vnboards the nice and still usefull speed buf is probably being nerfed in 1.53

That leaves us with a dex/qui buf in the Beastcraft line that still can be considered usefull.

Heck why did they give us beastcraft when they rendered most of it useless. So what to do, respecc to stealth when See hidden is around... dont think so
Reroll an assassin like everyone else maybe...

Really sad that a class albs see as a gimp, would be a semi god in mid. Yes.

Yeah its prolly the players fault all expereinced players around the world think/know mid is a gimped realm atm. Cause it takes so much skill pressing a button every 4 seconds or so.

But the good thing is Mythic will beef up mid soon. Mid used to be the best realm, then Alb and now Hib. Time for another loop.

This game is about Teamwork (atleast in RvR) you cant "own" all other classes since that would mean Mystic did a bad job on the game.

I had a nice fight with Wels yesterday, we saw how healers(midgard) are completely useless alone, but in groups they are great, I got mezzed by a solo healer and he couldnt finish me of, he ran instead.
When I traced him down to MPK I grouped up with Wels, we we went back the healer chased us again, and again mezzed (which is generally stupid since the timer on his mez was already used up so we resisted every mez) but then his friends arrived (I beleave a SB and a Thane) we fought well but it wasnt good enough.

Meaning without teamwork you will die, I often solo in emain (not a smart thing to do) But I do know 95% of all the realmpoints I got are from groups, And I just love to be in a group with some knowledge of the game.

Oh and for all you people that think they "own" someone, owning aint killing 1 person with 30 people, owning is killing 1 or more yellow cons on your own, or a large force with a small group.

We need more Crush mercs But then, Midgard needs more Warriors (at least the Thanes have stopped using AEs all the time ). Top RP holding warriors, isn't Crush like the only Warrior with more than 200k RP?

Apart from the healers (Insta rnaged AE stun and mez, yawn) and skalds (still overpowered; not many skilled ones around now though so it's no biggy) I don't have a problem with Mid classes

Hibernia being the most overpowered realm in terms of classes is a no-brainer Semi tanks with PBT, 1500 range baseline caster stuns and Bards with speed and AE mez etc, and the dreaded Moose with 6k hp

As for the Albions, the minstrel was toned down with See Hidden, still v good but a group char now. Infiltrators are exceedingly uber; hell, they'll probably get nerfed soon, but I'll concede that point Clerics are very good still, despite Hibs all having 50+ spirit resist, but we'll soon be useless drags as well.

Wardens are a naturalist (healer) baseclass... lots of ppl think they are guardian baseclass (fighter)

But sure i agree, Hib are the best realm, thats why we got most population, most lvl 50 chars, most relics. most RP's and most access to DF.

Heh being the best realm pretty much boils down to having the best and most CCers on the battlefield.

As for best realm i would have to say hib>alb and mid tied on second...

Abundant CC classes on the battlefield (insta CC + mach5 + end regen next patch = ownage)
Very good primary/secondary nukers
Group purge (single handedly the most powerful RA - hibernia only)
PBAE that hurts like a mofo and is *very* hard to combat. The other realms dont really have those tools available in "useful" spec lines
6-8 sec PBT in many many hib rvr groups

These i guess are your main strong points. Albs and mids have their advantages as well - it's just that the main components of RvR fights is covered well by hib classes and thus differences such as good alb tank armor and weapons, high wizzy dmg output and many rezzing classes is blown out of the water so to speak.

Midgard is a good realm, certainly ranks even with albion. They have the best CC class of any realm but low population in this class, of course, does them no good.

You forget that in future patches the vulnerability of armors will change and hibernian scale armor gets vulnerable to slash. I can kill level 50 warriors now with my slashers (happened two times now, maybe not enough for a scientific evaluation, but still), and since everybody is so afraid of the heroes and champions, having a weapon that has a bonus against them is not a bad choice.

That's then Slash has always been favoured as swords tend to look nice, and you get amethyst slash. Crush outdamages slash easily on most enemy tanks atm though.

dont stand very long in battle if get melee.

How can you compare Cleric to a Healer ?

you say: Cleric can smite healers can heal ...

cant a cleric heal, buff and smite ?
Cant a healer Heal, buff and CC ?

and are pretty darn good at the CC too ?

Clerics have stun ... riiight ... and how long does it last ?

Healers have Stun too, and AoE-Stun, and Instant AoE-Stun, and Mess, AoE-Mess, Instant AoE-Mess, Root, speeddecrease


and the most lovely thing ... they have mana-regen-buff ...

I have played both cleric and healer, and must admit that i would choose healer to cleric any time, anywhere!

Cleric : level 25 - 22 Rejuv, rest buff
Healer: level 26 - 12+3 mending, 21 pasification

I have a aoe-stun and single-target mess ... gives 43 sec. after that i can Root for 30 sec and then mess for 21 sec and root for 15 sec ...

that gives the tanks 109 sec to kill and 109 sec for manausers to regenerate mana ... or pick their nose .. whatever -....

and thats on yellowcon mobs (who cares)

sooo ... what would you perfere ... 120 points smite damage every 4 sec of the battle, leaving no time for healing, or the CC ?

But seriously.. Albion does win more in RvR due to ;
1) Larger population= bigger zerg (in theory).
2) More hybrids= better spread of abilities. Midgard's healers are absolutely fantastic.. but with no way to attack, they are totally used to level friends and then go make alts for RvR. Hence other realms beat Midgard. We have the best specialists, but don't function without most classes being represented. Hibernia have more hybrids too, AFAIK.
