Excuse my ignorance, but what in the name of all creation is a 'Buffbot'?

High enhance/nurture/aug. spec cleric/druid/shaman who stands in a BK/PK and provides buffs for it's owner; typically a stealther![]()

Dunno Ottar, since shammies had some lovin' more and more appearing on the frontier as the peeps that started making them in the last couple of patches start hitting 50 - their group utility value has been upped and their 'fun' aspect has been upped with the offensive capabilties being strengthened. There are a lot of full-cave shammies coming up the levels which are going to be very nasty in RvR when they hit 50.
Finding a healer on the other hand can be a nightmare, sometimes lucky to see one between 3 groups.
All realms have buffbots. Hmm.. I have a hypothesis. Mids have highest percentage of bots per account, then alb, hibs have lowest. Does that sound right?
The next question will be, why is that so? Out of all mid classes, shamen must be the rarest actively played in RvR.

But what about the stealther scouting ahead for the group, is it fair the he/she should lose their buffs when stepping out of range ..

If he's scouting ahead then he won't be using the buffs, they don't make stealth any more effective, just combat...

Not many Hibs have buff bots, I can only name 5 players who do have them, one being purely used for PvE. I'm one of those few Hibs that have a buff bot.
