Hi guys, im coming to alb/pryd to soon, i really fancy rolling a Briton Thrust merc (if its even possible) any hints + tips for good xp`ing etc? guilds to join and so on

Welcome,be warned thrust styles are hard to use in rvr,but if you can pull them off then you should do ok.Need any help or advice just ask me ingame.

Highlander slash,max slash while lving,put some in parry from lv17(do not go above 28) rest in dw,get the end spec of 50/50/28 any other specs are gimped kind of imo i tried all 3 types.... thrust does nice damage but VERY hard to get used to in rvr with all these lag strafe bastards out there etc.Crush lacks a good anytime,also too many chains.Slash hurts most hibs,resistant vs mids but still does best overall damage and has good weapons.

Starting points i did 10 str 10 dex 10 con.Upto you of course what you wish to do,just typing from my own experience of all 3 melee types

You could spec crush til 40 to auto train slash and get 50/50/31 template.

By the way i play hib excal was wondering if you might want to do a transfer if you start your char?

NOTE: Good thing with briton race is if you do not like slash you can go thrust and be similar to a sara thrust merc.Where as highlander you lose out on 80-100 weaponskill which is not good.

Another question, im levelinng when suddenly it decides to autotrain thrust , when im apeccing slash :/ + i cant spec parry

Mercs don't get parry until level 17.

Best way to level in the earlier stages is to spec shield + weapon, then /respec at 20 to parry.

Edit: And DW of course, hehe.

I am Briton Thrust atm.... I can solo oranges easy in PvE, Reds 50/50...

Only lvl 49 but so far, Im going to respec to Slash...

I evade far too little as a Briton, but might get better once I get SC suit....

But Im kinda lazy and Slash in RvR = 4tehwin.
Lame dmg if ur low-RR but lazeh ;p

im slash / dw atm bought my wuberly chain set , and have been solo`in black wolfs in salisbury plains (1 or 2)
