Yeah i agree with you. I didn't read the reviews before watching it, i got it suggested by somebody and thought it would have an interesting story behind it so gave it a whirl.


But this shit actually happens which makes it even more wrong.

Snuff movies and paedophile movies are banned and I think these are also psychologically damaging - its not about offense but there will be a tiny percentage who will respond to this sort of film.

they aren't banned because they are awfully damaging to your psyche, they're banned 'cause they are actual events, if they weren't abnned, a lot mroe people would get hurt.

I believe the bigger issue with these types of movies are that they desensitize torture which has serious implications when for example your state is doing it to people it claims to be terrorists, something they can do because people don’t think twice about what it actually implies. But maybe that’s just me being all liberal and stuff.

Whats so bad about? Some Spoilers? Reading reviews about how disturbing and realistic it is, don't think i'd fancy watching it. as my mind lingers and never forgets.
