Shame most people don't agree with you and that one thing most people did agree on was that VF3tb was crap.
Where technology comes from has nothing to do with it, Naomi was powerful thats all that mattered.
Most the games Ono listed never appeared in an arcade.

It was cheap and they could port the games in five minutes.
Yeah they were'nt arcade games, but they were all crap.
VF3tb was very good. None of those games listed helped DC much did they. The much hyped Shenmue was a bit toss and the rest did'nt attract nearly enough peeps to dc.
Sega make good arcade games and all their subsidiary development houses do to but they are weak compared to Namco and Capcom because their games are very shallow. If they try anything else, it fails. Plus absoulutely none listed were considered 'killer app.' software (maybe Shenmue a bit) whereas Vf3 in Japan was a huge title, a system seller.

Something which developers liked a lot about the DC.
I didn't like Shenmue, but the DC was doomed from day one and it had nothing to do with the games or the console.
VF3tb did well in Japan, not that I live there, because of the VF in the games name and not because it was a good game.
