SNES version was better than the N64 version, unless you had friends and just did the multiplayer.
But my friends were always better than me, they could do stuff like save themselves even though they'd just hit a banana skin! They never told me how to do it either
So as it was my N64 we tended to play goldeneye, PD or smash bros a lot as I pwnd at those games.

Wiggle the analog stick from left to right repeatidly as soon as you hit the banana skin, thus saving yourself from skidding

They said you had to simultaneously press up on both the C and D pads, then left on both, the right, and finally down.
I tried a couple of times and couldnt do it so just gave up. Damn gits, they were probably just pissed off with me because I was so damn good with a farsight in PD
