in answer to the original question, no cos all people would do is just switch to the free public ones, therefore defeating the object.

It's no help to anyone to have the same discussion in 12 different places.

Could we close it again? And can we have the thread starters moderator controls revoked please, cause moderator authority (whatever you may think of it) is being pissed all over by people reopenning their threads at the mo.
