Hold on. So we gll agree silencing doesn't not eliminate anyone from making a night action? We have no proof it doesn't. By agreeing who should be silenced in advance we prove nothing. If you volunteer to be silenced then stay quiet the next day what does that prove?

That would asume that it's conspiricy between two parties.
thus why if said target for silencing doesnt get to pick the silencer all that would proove is if the silenced party stayed silencet or not.

in this case it would not proove my guilt or innocence, but only that of the silencer, if I do not get to choose who then what do I stand to gain?

I think that whatever threat we face is not obvious. And that is why I am dubious of all the nominating for being silenced etc. what if we are being taken over by parasitic aliens or some thing equally horrifying each night? We'd just keep laying through each day until no one was left. We need done action, not lethargy.

From what I an tell the silences are to stop people from saying what they got done to them in a particular day period...whether that means they have some illness/zombie/warewolf thing that takes 24 hours to turn them, who knows. My ability is designed to stop people getting lynched, though I can be a dick with it too, as per locking toht up.

My thinking is that Toht is the original baddie and has passed it onto (Whoever else) can silence too.

Lynch Toht imo, he was the first to silence someone...I also think Chet and the whore have been turned...maybe. yeeep, only way to test it is to lynch Toht

I've no bloody idea what is going on though. We have 2 people that can silence people, but denied knowing each other existed.

Chet knows Cerb is a prostitute, but doesn't know how he knows. And Cerb outed himself as a prostitute and a silencer in response to Chets accusation.

So all we know with certainty is that Toh and Cerb can silence people and Chet maybe by chance can discover the role of someone that interacts with him.

I'm not sure this silencing can be that bad however, if it is something creepy we potentially have 4 enemies amongst us, as chet and scouse may have joined ranks with their respective silencers!

Raven If you lock up Cerb tonight and I vote Toh we should be able to discover something about these two and any potential effects they may have passed on.
