About the spoiler for episode 4 that aired after the current episode 3 -

What the hell Jin talked english at the end! - After everything that's happened he now decides to let people know - been expecting it for a while but he's waited a long time to do it.

Holy shit. I closed my video when the "Lost" logo came up. Just went and watched the preview. If Jin has been able to speak english all this time then that is mental. There is a "theory" going around that Jin is something to do with this Dharma corporation. He feigned his inability to speak English so people would discuss stuff amongst him without thinking he'd understand. Sounds a bit to far fetched to me though, but anythings possible.

But that was only a few words. The way he speaks in every episode so far he still has to really force the words out. Even when they're in the cage in ep3. No way he could learn fluent english in the time between ep3 and ep4.

Mmmmmmmmm, another nice ep.

Think I preferred the way I watched season 1 though: after it had finished airing rather than this 1 per week nonsense :)

As for 700mb vs 350mb: it depends what youll be watching it on. With a larger screen and/or with a decent sound setup the larger version is worth every byte.

His wife made him a dictionary!
That just has a few boating terms in it, I don't think she gave him an entire vocabulary, and he hardly had alot of time to learn it. :p

I'm currently working my way through all nine series of The X-Files and guess who turned up in one of the Season 2 eps. John Lock.

I think there is a connection here that we cannot see ;)

As for Ep 3.

I was kinda hoping the film they watched would tell us a little more, but alas it's the same old Lost story. Keep em guessing to the very end and then tell us that pixies did it all.

Also, if "The Others" are the tail end passengers and they've been there the same amount of time as Jack and friends, I wonder why they decided to build a jail pit in the jungle floor :)

The black fellow is Rose's (the black woman from the flight, who was in a few episodes) husband, I think.
I very much doubt this. The guy look a bit to young and beefy to be with her. Unless he had some old woman fetish going on. I envisoned her Husband to be a kind of Bill Cosby type.

I think Rose said her husband has arthritis or something. He does look a bit to muscular and barbaric to be married to a quiet Christian woman. But who knows what being alone in the wilderness for 40 days can do to people. :) I think the pit was probably originally for catching boar, etc. Unless they've had there own run ins with "the others." I reckon the black dude might actually be the survivor from the Nigerian planecrash.

The 2 people who were in the Dharma video, and the boat people. Definately a resemblance there. It would support the theory that Dharma work on strange scientific experiments, such as prolonging life. (All of the chemicals and stuff which Desmond had...and what was said in the video) and also why they'd try to take Walt (special..para psychology, etc)

Mind = Blown.

I dont have the picture here anymore, but if you look at the blonde girl on the boat and then look at the photo of Desmond with a girl... it's somewhere in the hatch I think Jack looks at it..

The girl on the boat and girl with desmond look like they're the same.. all they're facial features match when you use the powers that be in paint

I was a little disappointed by this episode. It seemed more like a Soap. :( There was even less story advancement than before. It had some very funny moments though. Did anyone else notice Walts picture on the milk carton Hurley was drinking out of, right at the start? It was in his dream though, but still odd because to his knowledge Walt and co would still be on the boat. Also that skinny kid from Road Trip was in it! I knew that Jin speaking English in the preview bit was just to throw us. ;)

So, do you guys think that the place they lead Jin and co to, is another underground site or part of a larger complex of interconnecting sites.

Also, the magnetisem experienced by Jack in front of that wall. Strange. There must be one hell of a magnetic source behind all that concrete.

Theory #1 : This is all some social experiement. Put survivor group 1 on one side of the island (Sand, sea, drinkable water in the spring and a sense of purpose (The button pressing)). Then survivor group 2 on the other side. Not much other than forest and an empty underground facility. Probably most of the people died of disease.

Theory #2: Hurley was so upset at the bad things that had happened to him since the lottery win that he decieded to spend a ton of money setting this all up and then had his own memory erased so he'd get caught up in it all to ;)

Theory #3: Even the writers don't know where it's going. They're all sat in a room, reading all these post and laughing their assess off at our feeble attempts to figure it all out.

Ep 4 was ok, but I hope 5 reveals something to keep us all going.

I think there might be 6 sites, perhaps all joint by some kind of underground system, or just placed around the island. Both of the 2 bunkers have different Dharma logos on them, so it'd make sense for there to be 6 bunkers, in correlation with the 6 different Dharma initiatives. The Chinese bloke off the video had a 3rd Dharma logo on his lab coat, and also had a lame hand. Even when he did the traditional salute to say goodbye, he didn't use that arm as you are meant to. Perhaps he was injured during the "incident" he talked about, at one of the 4 bunkers we don't yet know about.

tbh I think this was one of the poorest episodes of Lost so far, no real story advancement at all, some funny moments and nice to see Hurley getting some story time again but all in all a bit disappointing.

Another quite dissapointing episode and now 3 weeks to wait till ep 6 :(

A teddybear in bondage!!! ;) Also, who will die? Don't think it would be sawyer, to easy. I'm thinking Sun or Bernard.

I dunno! I don't think it'll be Sawyer either, I hope it's not Sun though! I want to see her reunited with Jin. Kinda knew she'd get her ring back from where the bottle was right from the outset, though.
Was that kid dragging the teddybear meant to be Walt?

I'm going for Shannon or Charlie dying. I just think they lack depth, and the writers don't want them getting involved in the thick of it. Jack, Kate, Locke, Sayid are all interesting characters. Plus it can't be Jin, Sawyer or Michael. I'm waiting a the spinoff where they share an apartment! ;)

Its more likely to be one of the people from the other part of the island.
