A couple of spoilers borrowed from another forum. Don't read if you don't wanna find out who dies and find out about the next few episodes

General Season 2 Spoilers
Spoiler 1: The "Orientation" film's jarring jump cuts are actually what Lindelof calls "missing pieces" that resulted when former hatch hermit Desmond spliced the broken movie back together after watching it too many times. Those missing pieces will become "very important plot points down the road."
Spoiler 2: Lindelof confirms that Walt said, "Push the button. Don't push the button. Bad."
Spoiler 3: Cuse admitted that Shannon's jungle encounter with Walt was a dream.
Spoiler 4: Says Lindelot: "I think the audience is very compelled to figure out exactly where Desmond was running to and, once he gets there, what is he going to do. We told you that he was in a [ship] wreck, but I think there are a lot of questions about how exactly he came to be here. That's certainly a story on the horizon."
Spoiler 5: "It's important to note," Lindelof says, "that we've never said when the plane crashed. I think the assumption is that it happened in 2004 when the show premiered, but we've never said that."
Spoiler 6:"The Helen we meet in flashbacks is not the same Helen that Locke was speaking to on the phone," Lindelof clarifies, sort of.
Spoiler 7: Lindelof says, "What happened to the 'tailies' that so drastically whittled their numbers is a very compelling mystery that drives us through the first third of the season."
Spoiler 8: It is Shannon that dies.
Spoiler 9: Expect a reunion between Rose and husband Bernard.
Spoiler 10: Marvin Candle only has 1 hand.
Spolier 11: We will be seeing less of Walt.
Spoiler 12: The link with Shannon's dad will be explained in November
Spoiler 13: Kirstin says. "I just found out HOW the female(SHANNON) on Lost dies and.I want to cry. I'm not kidding. It's so shocking. So good. And so unbelievable. The doomed female dies NOT at the hands of the monster. But it is at the hands of someone we know who .... well, given this twist, just might BE a monster.
Spoiler 14: Desmond will be back.
Spoiler 15: The person (SHANNON) that is killed is intentionally killed, although the reason will not be known to us immediately. This is not a LOST murder mystery though, it's more of a why'd they do it. The person who dies is a crash survivor. The person who kills them will not be revealed until the November sweeps week episode (of course). The network will dangle this information for a while to build anticipation. (Another "who shot JR" moment.) The full time-line is: Death in Episode 6. Rerun the following week. Then episode 7 which is mostly told in flashback from the tail-section point of view, but ends with a teaser of who killed SHANNON. Then Episode 8 which reveals who the killer is. Look for this person to deceive everybody except for a select few.
Spoiler 16: Name of Ana-Lucia friend is Mr. Ecko http://www.thetailsection.com/images/ecko_grin.jpg
Spoiler 17: Jack is NOT the killer
Spoiler 18: The airport encounter between Jack and Ana-Lucia was not accidental.
Spoiler 19: Shannon is killed by another FEMALE
Spoiler 20: "The Dharma Initiative creators, Gerald and Karen DeGroot --- a bearded man and blonde women seen in the film Jack and Locke watched in the hatch --- bear a striking (if not younger) resemblance to two of the people who kidnapped Walt"says Abrams.
Spoiler 21: There are other [Dharma] films that eventually you will see [on the show]," reveals Abrams.
Spoiler 22: When asked "Is it just a coincidence that Jack and hatch dweller Desmond Have met before?" Intersecting lives have become a trend on the series. In fact, Jack is already connected to Sawyer and Shannon. "The show gets to wrestle with and not always resolve questions about fate," cocreator J.J. Abrams crypyically reveals.

"...and Found" : Episode 2:5 : Episode Centric = Jin & Sun
Michael sets off into the jungle by himself determined to find Walt, but discovers that he is not alone. Meanwhile, Sawyer and Jin are ordered by their captors to take them to their camp, and Sun frantically searches for her missing wedding ring. The name of Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje's character is revealed. He and Cynthia Watros' Libby are two of the lucky "tailies" still alive and kickin'

In this episode we also find the identity of the bearded man on the boat that took Walt. The bearded man is Kelvin, the person who Desmond claimed was in the bunker before he arrived.

Judging from the promos, there appears to be some flirtatious Ana/Sawyer interaction as they make their way across the island.

Guest starring: Sam Anderson as Bernard, Kimberley Joseph as Cindy, Robert Dahey as poor man, June Kyoko Lu as Mrs. Paik, Tony Lee as Jae Lee, Rain Chung as Mr. Kim, Kim Kim as Mrs. Shin, Josiah D. Lee as Tai Soo and Tomiko Okhee Lee as Mrs. Lee. Written by Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse. Directed by Stephen Williams.

"Abandoned" : Episode 2:6 : Episode Centric = Shannon
Sawyer's wound becomes life-threatening as he, Michael and Jin make their way through the interior of the island with the tail section survivors. Meanwhile, Shannon is once again haunted by visions of Walt, and Charlie becomes jealous of Locke's interest in Claire, on "Lost,"

A major female character dies in this episode. We know for sure it's not Claire, leaving Kate, Shannon, or Sun as the possibilities.

Guest starring are Malcolm David Kelley as Walt, David Ely as intern, L. Scott Caldwell as Rose, Sam Anderson as Bernard, Kimberley Joseph as Cindy, Ian Somerhalder as Boone, Lindsay Frost as Sabrina, Francois Guetary as Philippe, Ashleigh Ann Wood as Nora, Maree Miller as Sophie, Patti Hastie as nurse, Michael Cowell as doctor and Sandra Le Bat as Dominique.

"The Other 48 Days" : Episode 2:7 : Episode Centric = ANA-LUCIA
The entire seventh episode is devoted to the other survivors backstory, meaning we find out precisely what happened to them for the past month and a half they've been on the island. And I hear (don't read if you don't want to know!) their group has been tortured by the others. Some have been kidnapped and many killed.

This is going to be the "concept episode" the producer spoke of where we find out what happened to Ana Lucia from the moment she gets on the plane until the current time period....chronicaling her time on the island and what she has gone through the past 48 days along with the other tail-end survivors.

This episode will also feature her flashbacks to her life before the plane crash.

Episode 2.08: Old Habits : Episode Centric - CHARLIE
We find out in this episode who killed the main female character back in episode 6 and why. It is someone we know and love.

Desmond will be appearing in this Episode
Dr Marvin Candle will be appearing in this Episode

Shannon!!! :(:(:(

God damn she looked sexy with her sex hair. Not so nice covered in blood though.

tail end survivor said "did you see the kids ... more than 1?!

tail end survivor who was killed was the 13th one to be taken from there crew. the mysterious numbers!

The preview 3 weeks ago said 1 survivor would be lost forever. Sawyer and Shannon are both injured. We don't know for sure that either are dead. The tail end survivor who was kidnapped whilst they were carrying Sawyer might well be the "Lost" one!

Yet more reference to the fact that it was Jack who allowed Shannon's dad to die in favour of trying to save the girl he later helps to not be paralysed. You see him walk past Shannon in the hallway when they go to look at the body.

Alos, bloody hell, Shannon's mum's a bitch. I wonder if this whole island thing will turn out to be part of Shannon's dad's will in order to make his kids stand on their own two feet :)

From scanning Miles_Binck's post, it seems clear that this series is finally going to pick up the pace now.

Oh my gosh, this episode was an effing belter. :D No flashbacks, just a chronological account of the 45 days on the island from the tail end survivors point of view. This was my favourite episode of S2 so far. :)
Eko is such a fucking badass. That kids teddy bear is the same one you saw the others holding when they walked past Eko and Jin in the bush. It seems the others only take "good/pure" people. Goodwin (the equivalent of Ethan to the tail end survivors) seemed genuinly suprised to see that bunker though, odd.

It's clearly Anna who pulls the trigger!
Obviously the two groups of survivours couldn't come together without some friction between them :p

Cracker of an episode. I loved the bit about waiting 40 days to talk/cry, that was excellent. It was a bit odd that none of the others made any remarks about Anna being wrong about the guy in the cage though. And the bit about her figuring out that he wasn't wet? I didn't see much water on Bernard either...

Still, the writers know how to hold a cliffhanger!

I'm not so sure. The shot from behind that showed the shooters left side. It didn't look like her for some reason. Not sure though. Will have a look tonight and screencap if I'm right.

I hate that Anna character, you have to wonder why she's such a hard-assed bitch!

I get the impression that her and the original characters won't get on too well!

Mr Ekko (the dolphin) on the other hand, is a great character!

Sawyer called Anna 'Rambina' iirc.

Personally funny, because I've thought Rodrigez could play the role of a cop-turned-crackaddict who raids crackdens(still believing she's a cop), shoots down every 'motherfucker' in sight and loots the drugs. The character of course, was called Rambo Bitch oO

I'm not denying she fired her gun. I'm just wondering if they edited it to make it look like it was her when it wasn't. You never actually see them both in the same shot.

I think that's taking it a bit far, it was pretty clearly her, said even gives her the mega evils, and he saw it all.

Sayid gave *someone* the mega evuls. Ana-Lucia definetly fired the gun, it was the last bullet and you can see the slide is locked back as semi's do when the clip is emptied. Whipped made a good point though - you never see them in the same shot. That's rather telling.

actually you see them in the same shot, the camera is behind Ana and you can see the stick that she carries in her belt at the very end of episode 7(from 45.01 to 45.06 i think)

Ok, I stand corrected.
Looks like it is Ana.
killshot.jpg

Although, saying that, isn't rich-bitches body facing the wrong way. I know she could have fallen and turned. But the way she is on the floor would suggest she was shot from the other side of the bushes?

if you watch episode 6, at the end after she gets shot she walks back to sayid and he catches her when she falls. that would explain why shes facing that way

A couple of out-of-character moments:

When Saeed is wrestling with at the start, Jin and Michael are standing back and only react when Anna grabs the gun!

Kate is motionless when she sees this stranger coming towards her & Jack.

imo, something big is gonna kick off next episode, maybe a visit from the Others :eek7:

Hopefully the African dude will have a background story, he has potential! Him & Locke will become a duo imo, Locke is already showing him respect.

Though I did think Anna was going to exile herself, and Saeed would decide he needed to be alone, thus meeting Anna in the forest and they go on to hunt some 'others.

I like the fact that some of the threads from season 1 have now been completed. Bernard reunited with his wife and the radio broadcast to boone in last weeks episode. Gives you hope that they won't just keep everyone guessing on everything until the very final episode.

Future spoiler below. Do not open if you don't want to know something big that will happen.

I've read that by the end of this season we will find out the cause of the crash. I'm thinking one of three things.
1. Air to Air missile or Ground to Air missile brought them down.
2. Terroists put a bomb in the luggage compartment.
3. Simple accident, that will probably be attributed to Hurley's bad luck.
