Looking for a good 1920 x 1080 LCD monitor

Seen a few around the 250 ish

samsung iiyama and such anyone got one recommend one ?

was hoing to get it at 200 rather than 250 but would like a hdmi as well as dvi and vga etc all the standard stuff

That's more or less the 16:9 HDMI enabled version of my screen (which is a 16:10 with just DVI/VGA). Mine is jolly good indeed, I expect this one is too.

Get the 16:10 screen if you can. You will appreciate 1920* 1200 at that screen size for desktop usage and gaming.

so 1920 x 1200 is better than 1920 x 1080 ?

Well it's 16:10 vs 16:9. Widescreen PC monitors are almost always 16:10 and widescreen TV's are 16:9. I'd be inclined to go with Chets advice tbh - better for desktop usage and when you watch widescreen TV shows/films you'll only have a little border top and bottom.

1920x1200 is more comfortable for desktop viewing and web browsing, 1080p is a little too wide for my liking.

what Chod said tbh. I love my Dell 2407, though it could use some overhaul, like HDMI and perhaps a faster screen.
