Well, I went from give or take 100 to 200 at around 38... I expect that when I am able to use a 100% qual 16.2 Thrust Polearm, I'll do 350~500 damage... (currently doing about 250, with spikes upwards)
Unlike you, I'll have a (huge) bonus on chain, e.g. most tanks & healers... Which I will be batteling most of the time... I might have a bit of variance since I'll bring my thrust up to 40 (where it is now) and my polearm up to 48...
Only time will tell (will I ever hit 50? )...
But rest asure, I'll do more damage then you on 90% of the RvR classes that I will meet 1 vs 1...

your bonus on chain isnt any higher than my bonus on leather/cloth
its not asiff theres more chain wearers than casters/leather wearers.

Slash doesn't have any bonus vs cloth... (and if you're relying on bonus to melee a caster, there's something wrong).
The only bonus slash gets is vs leather, that's 2 classes accross Mid and Hib if I'm right...
So he's right, he WILL do more dmg on 90% of the classes that he will meet in RvR 1v1.

rofl, if u made a highlander and raised 10 str points on start then u got 200 str as cap at 50. Same as everyother armsmen should have as EVERY LV50 TANK caps his str easily.

btw, as i told yah u DONT NEED that bonus against casters and stalkers, they have low hps anyway and will take ~2 hits for every 2h tank to kill em, nm the bonus. (1 if crit proc dds or whatever, 3 if unlucky, fighting against buffed enemy, or gimped)

sidenote: Hibernian LW gives access to both slash and crush weapons on same spec. Slash only use is exping (bonus against lots a mof0s) and door bashing (just to avoid dropping that bloddy hammy dur). Ill use hammers on rvr ALWAYS (unless am fooling with swords), swaping to sword to kill that poor assasin wont give any difference, 2 hits. (bigger numbers yeah but same time... dont worth tha change)

I'm guessing a senario here, hey smack me when I'm wrong...
You supprise a caster and hit his BT...
(that means you miss Karam )
He does a /face, then QC mezz or root...
Walks away, does a /laugh, /point, /cry and bang, your dead...
Note the "supprise a caster" since thats the only way you get close... Otherwise, he only does a /laugh and then kills you...
As for the SB/NS's, there's no way you can find one, and there's no SB/NS stupid enough to even THINK about attacking an armsman... (Let alone a level 50 armsman)
Same goes for Archers, if you do find an Archer(or NS/SB), well big

Lol m8, I've probably been around in this game longer then you...
And I was probably RvR'ing before you even started your char... At the time I was RvR'ing with Wedge(and my alts), the highest I saw in RvR was Red (that was around level 20-30)... You could count the number of purples on one hand..
I never gave much about levels, and probably never will... But it's a fact that your 'halberd' isnt all that mighty... You might have a 'per-swing' high damage, but fact is (and stays) that you have a huge penalty against 90% of the classes you will have to fight in RvR...
15% penalty is a whole damn lot, if you did 260 on a chain wearer, this means that your damage 'base' was around 300... Which means I would do 345 with a weapon at the same DPS and Speed... Now, if I see this correct, I would do 85 more damage on a tank in the same amount of time...
(change numbers as you see fit)
Dont be fooled about the 'per-swing' damage, since the Dps isnt better (both have a max of 16.2), but you have a huge penalty...
Dont judge peoples experience by levels...

i've been playing since the beginning of the beta... i couldnt possibly have played longer unless i was on US servers. and if your so experienced and knowledgable, what are you such low lvl? you must be rubbish.

engage --> brutalize (off block shield stun) hit hit --> engage
--> let the guy burn end ---> another brutalize --> hit ( guy has to low hps now to be engaged ) --> continue hitting. Guy has no end anymore and so usual block/parry rate is back again. Use m00se if needed = Dead Karam
You can switch to engage between hits, at least it worked on you... maybe I am bugged

Hmmm...this might be a bit off topic. I wonder about the "LOL @ Arya" headline. If Karam had won the fight or done something uber on the battlefield it might be ok to post a LOL @ something. Actually, it is difficult to beat 3 level 50 defenders with 17 attackers, only one of which was level50, when the defenders had mezzers which allowed to Keep guards to beat on us.
We didn't really have the numbers to take the keep
