All this nonsense about NP zerg was really getting on my tits.

Shame the zergs are back on Prydwen...RVR was getting much more skillfull.....


Anyways..decided to prove a point tonight....took the LOE zerg out.

Result...NP dead ..er...many times....mids dead many times...LOE dead..zero times.

Yes we can gather 6fgs up...no we dont liek it...prefer smaller scale combat.....yes we will counter this new zerg behavious from our new Hib enemies if need be. Did NP get more than 2k rps while LOE were out there? Maybe.....dunno tho...hardly saw a dead LOE in 3 hours of fighting.


Im sur ethis will get deridied by Teador etc(in the manner we all know and grew to love him for ;p)..but lets face it...if NP want a zerg contest....feel free to have a pop at our zerg. End result if we muster troops = /np guild chat: RUN


This is no offence to NP. Tbh more hibs = welcoem sight for me.....but if they insist on mas zerg....then nothing else for it.


sincerily tho NP...welcome to Pryd if u are staying.....please slack off the mass lets gather 4 fgs b4 goign anywhere.....it will only lead to LOE/SOTL doing same(but tiwht more numbers) and also the numerous mids doing the same. Would really prefer to keep thsi server a skillfull RVR server if possible.

Well..to you i say this - At least we dont become public enemy number one in the initial realm of choosing(with god damn good reason too)....then jump ship leaving guildies etc...to go to the most pweor full realm...andxhoos eth emost overpowered class.......u then jump ship again to the(possibly soon) most pwoerfull hib guild).

Talk about a cheap ass.....i want everythign on a plate..im goitn to roll uber class XXXX coz nothgin else will show 'hwo good i am'.

LoE always zerg, if its with 3fgs or 6, whats the different?

Yesterday i did a /who emain and got 22 results, and some alb told on IRC that he did a /who emain as well with 106 results, way to go

Umm, a day before there was a hib zerg running all over macha, even interfering with pieceful picking on mids from me and headache. (And coming back to our hunting grounds is not so fast, if you move stealthied) :/
So when yesterday someone proposed to zerg, i agreed wholeheartedly. Maybe now everyone shown size of their ... umm... zergs and can go back to more small-scale ecounters ? ;)

If you actually took the time to read the original post you would know why there were so many albs in Emain yesterday and I wouldnt have to make you look stupid for pointing this out.

Emain has been, is and always will be the Zergers Paradise(tm).

Either go there and zerg, or go someplace else and have fun, your choice.

(the gazzilionth time someone said this, I know, but people seem to have a problem understanding it).

Props to Warders for camping HotC 7 days a week, gives nice fights in the Pennine/HW area :)

We have been limiting our RvR to 2fg's (note, not all level 50, my lvl 41 bard hit rr3L4 in 2 days RvR) simply because it is more fun, though we have usually have 2x2fg's running about, meeting up occasionally. But the fact we usually ran over everything until we hit the Alb zerg wall (hmmm... ran into 94 Albs at the AMG after 2 hours of great RvR, guess you Albs are now doing what the Mids did at the start, hearing that there is good RvR in Emain and turning up in 3-figure numbers...) seems to put alot of people off nowadays.

So, want us to land out with 6fg's to counter yours, please go ahead and continue with this zerg of yours, and I wouldn't be surprised if you port into Emain some day this week to find 100+ Hibs camping the AMG, just to put a stop to the zergs and completely kill RvR for another few weeks, like it did a few months back (remember the last time you complained about Hib zergs? Why was that? Because you couldn't stay in Emain for more then 5 minutes probably).

But, at the end of the day, WE DON'T LIKE DOING IT!

We have far better things to do than run about at 3fps getting 5RP/hour due to 100 people hitting each target, and generally growing bored.

Also note, as has been said countless times on this and other forums, Emain is our frontier. If we want to defend it, we will. Whether it be with 1 person or 100, it is our right to. Just like it is your right to come and attack it with as many as you feel like.

At the end of the day, you play the game the way you like to. If someone wants to go to Emain, who is to stop them? If NP want to run about with 3fg's, who is to stop them wanting to do that? If half of Hib wants to camp the milegates in Emain, who is to stop them trying that? People will get bored of zergs, and RvR on the server will return to its pleasing 1fgv1fg or 2fgv2fg battles.

But until then, don't make the situation worse by saying "Oh, they are zerging, we'll just zerg them with twice their number!" as the people you zerg can just turn round and say the same, and then we turn Emain into a lagfest and risk crashing the zone.

zergs suck totally

However, if you are running about in 5 lots of 1fg, split up nicely, and suddenly 3-4 fg of hibs/mids zerg you, how do you counter that ?

You get all the groups to join together to fight it.

You cant blame albs for zerging once they get zerged themselves :eek:

I'd much prefer to be out there doing 8v8 than 32v32 or worse :eek: but by the same reasoning, Im not going to happily do 8v32 over & over :(

If people dont want 6fg zergs, then please dont run about in 4+fg to start with, as in the end no one has any fun, and zergs take sod all skill.

I can understand it if you intend taking a keep, but otherwise its as boring as shit

BTW this goes for all realms

and to those that say LoE Zerg all the time i think you'll find thats incorrect - as such we generally do 1 grp rvr and that is a fact. And to those implying we are a crap guild thanks again - last night was simply a point of showing that whether NP are here (which in my opinion is a good thing) their zerg's are not liked.

I think its kind of insulting to say all players from a guild is crap but i'd expect nothing more from here.

Warders will counter your zerg with 10 fgs and were bringing 20 more fgs with us! We're even gonna buy us extra account and pl zergers!

Amazing how all these people claim to hate zergs, yet it's the same old names, from all realms, going to the same old places, time after time after time. Here's a wake-up call folks. When you go to Emain, and complain about the zerg, look in the mirror : you ARE the zerg.

I'm sure I speak for the rest of the non-Emain-junkies in DAoC in saying, keep going to Emain, keep moaning at each other, keep blaming each other for the zergs. It leaves the other 11 frontier zones free for the rest of us.

Just ordered 356 brand new pc's, gonna install daoc on all of em as soon as they arrive, and then i'll solo every zerg I encounter.

For the uniformed, LOE hasnt zerged anywhere for a long, long time. We, Like many of you dont really like mass zerg but prefer smaller scale combat. Having heard that people were zerging Emain again, a decision was made to zerg the place, just to prove a point: If peoepl want to show their power in a zerg...the its just going to snowball into mass zerg fighting (circa 5 months ago).


This isnt a 'whine' as some intellect pointed out in the 1st few replies, its a simple fact. People start zerging again....and other guilds will return to the bad ol zerg.

A whine? Please, if guild zergs is what its coming to again.....then surely LOE is equiped to slog it out with the best of the other bigger guilds. This is more a plea to NP who have come a server where zergs are notorious.....and are using the same method here.

This is NOT an insult NP thread.....I dont know them from adam...good luck to them on Prydwen if that is goign to be their new home, more Hibs in RVR will...for me...improve RVR.


PS- dont bother asnwering if you have less than 3GCSE's, cant sustain a mature argeument/debate or ever feel inclined to use the words 'noob or leet.
