On a more serious note I do not zerg and i dont think zerging a zerg is the way to stop the zerg. How zergtastic is all this zerg talk about zerging ah yes my point icecream > zerg.

The whole zerg thing is very easy to avoid now anyway. This lots of people of all realms going in small groups to the new dungeons there are plenty of RvR oportunities in all 3 realms... I can't believe i'm saying this, but i actually had a lot of fun in the pennines over the last few days using the Mighty Erasleigh as a base of ops. had some good none zergy fights with both hibs and mids... you know who you are... my memory is poor but i'm sure you'll agree it was a nice change

dont think we ever run in groups larger then 2fg , and sotl usually runs 1fg. the problem i was adressing is that mixed groups usually follow warders around and i think it might be the same with sotl and prolly np, creating this mini zerg, since imo 2fg != zerg
ps : if youre running around in a group and you see mids or hibs, you dont run in to keel them?

2fg = zerg has to be a joke! What do you think about buffbotted 1fgs? Would it be unfair a random 2fg with buffs take on a 1fg uber buffed or 2fg with no cc take on a 1fg balanced group. Oh yeah warders often use mid as bait if mids are at gates. Its using them just as much as them tagging on to you uses you. You create minzergs just as Sotl do. I'm fine with you joining in but if you dont like people following you around and you see a fair fight happening just run by if you are that way inclined to "zerg". There is no skill in chancing upon a 1fg vs 1fg fight and creating a zerg. Sotl always manage to come in the middle of a battle. Dont tell me this isnt creating a zerg because they run alone. In that case lets get mids running 1fg at 1 minute intervals on the same path. We will all catch up with each others encounters and ensure we are always enough to deal with potential problems.
The fact is emain is rarely a 1fg vs 1fg battle even if people are running in 1fgs. The key is to follow another group not too close but within sight Wait until they engage in battle and then charge in 20 seconds later rather than the other way around. That way you maximise rp and they maximise risk rather than the other way around. This seems to happen a lot as it is why not just organise it.

the way i see it:
few days ago i start hearing '2fgs hibs amg' and it turns out to be NP, now im leveling an alt atm, so not actually RvRing with Aevar. but the last time i DID, and was emain. i was in a full grp running around killing things. LoE have a high member content (ahahahs borg hahah n00b refcruiting spree hahahehah. yeah) due to the fact that good people have ASKED to join us. and theyre all good players. ive been in Phoenix Legion, The Chosen, Crusaders, Virtue et Armis, and more guilds that i forget... theyre all great guilds with great leadership.but so far, Vayasen is the best GM i have come across. so Point 1) stop calling us n00bs. a n00b is someone who knows nothing, and LoE have been around since UO, crossing many different mmorpgs in the trek to DaoC.
now AS LoE have a high member count, and lots of elvel 50s, that means obviously, we will have a lot of people out in emain. we cant say 'ok group 1 is in emain today, so group 2 goes to Hadriens'. LoE also cross-guild. our groups will often have members of other guilds. point 2) just because theres a LoE cloak among the zerg. doesnt make it a LoE zerg.
since NP joined the server, guildchat has been flooded with people saying how their group was wiped out by 2-3fgs of Nolby (group <---- not plural) up till NPs arrival we had nice 1fg combat going on in emain. so Vayasen said we should all gather up in emain to bash NP for a few nights, to show them that we havnt just been sitting around waiting for them to come to us. (basic plan, if we hit NPs 3fgs hard enough, maybe theyd break up into 3 seperate groups, and we could continue with our normal RvRing) its basically a show to NP, other mids n hibs unlucky enough to get in the way.
I on the other hand have declared full out war on anyting Nolbish. its nothing about their members, or playing style. i just dont like the name. (i speak for myself here, the guild does not encourage such wild and reckless behaviour) so finaly Point 3) im cool.

You know when you've been zerged by albs when:
Mass armsmen slam you and paladins running a gazzillion heal chants and the AE nuke spam from the wizzies and Clerics also followed by the terribly slow moving inf zerg at the back.
You know when you've been zerged by mids when:
Some grey healer manages a 1 minute mezz of 50alb/hibs and then the DoT/near sight spammed followed by a big helping of troll arse.
You know when you've been zerged by hibs when:
A large flash of light suddnely apprears around you twice then all you see if floor followed by a dash of hib tanks standing in your back as the run over to zerg some more.
